Reception did not have rep present for ages after arrival. Waited for ages to get driking glass as none in room. Very noisy until after midnight due to zero insulation in a plasterboarded, shabby room. Shower did not work. Disappointed that Expedia offer such poor facility!

I was told there was an electric car charger for customers to use. On check in the lady said I could use it. When I returned later and tried to, the night receptionist was very rude to me and said I could not. I explained to him what I had been told and showed him a picture of the comms but he was rude and adversarial towards me.

Stayed here for two nights, overall the experience was very good! The customer service was great, staff were very friendly and accomodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable, stocked with plenty of coffee and tea making facilities. The value for money was very reasonable as well, this location is perfect for a cheap and cheerful stay, with ample free parking just outside and a close proximity to the city centre and Utilita Arena (our reason for the visit). I also loved that there is a takeaway breakfast provided every morning; a little paper bag with a pastry, breakfast bar, piece of fruit, yoghurt and a fruit juice box. Honestly there were only two negatives to the accomodation, and considering the cost they really weren't a major issue. The first is that the rooms were starting to look a bit rough around the edges, and our bathroom had a hole in the bath, (which was fine because we were only using the shower). The second is only really a situational negative, and it's that the location is up quite a steep incline from the main city centre. So for people wanting to walk, this may be an issue for some. Overall though, a very comfortable location and great value for money, would definitely come again!

The staffs are very friendly, clean room, breakfast included. One thing is that there is only one socket to charge anything and that is so far away from the bed so if you needed to charge anything would have to be on the other end of your bed. Overall really happy with the stay!

The room itself was absolutely fine for what we paid and the beds comfy, just overall a bit dated. However the building is falling apart. There had been a flood and the enteance and hallway smelled really bad. The light well above the stairs was not sealed and flapping open and shut in the wind making quite a noise but we couldn't hear it from the room thankfully. Coming home and getting back in was not ideal. We had to call the night porter bel 3 times before he came out to let us in. The breakfast bag on check out was actually really good and an unexpected bonus.

The older gentleman that works on reception ( was after 2200 on 14/11/2025 )needs retrained - rude and his attitude was awful Pressure of water needs to be looked at / temperature - hot water would scald you if left on longer than 5 seconds
