This place is great. Amazing and friendly staff. Room was spotless and very comfortable. It might not be located in the most inviting area, but it’s an oasis in the Garden District.

Excellent customer service with check in and allowed late check out. Street parking was free and the neighborhood was mostly quiet. The room was as advertised, clean and with full amenities along with a cafe/bar on site. I would recommend this hotel if you don’t mind a short commute to the French Quarter.

The Marsh Hotel is a small hotel in a residential neighborhood. I was allowed a very early check in. The room was clean , well equipped and functional. The main reception area also serves as a coffee shop and bar. People who demand luxurious amenities will be disappointed but The Marsh Hotel provides nice rooms so let NOLA provide the excitement

The Marsh suited my needs perfectly as a solo traveler, it was quiet and accessible, great communication as needed, and friendly onsite staff. It's a simple and clean place with cute decor, and nice patio to hang out if desired. Close to the St. Charles streetcar and a lovely cafe nearby as well. I will definitely stay here again!

Would gladly stay here again!

The front desk/cafe staff were the nicest and most helpful of any hotel I’ve been to! The woman working there in the morning gave a list of her favorite spots in the city and lots of local history and lore when I asked her for suggestions. The man who took my call to make reservation changes couldn’t have been easier to talk to and was so accommodating. The king room was lovely, clean, and very comfortable. I appreciated the water in the room and in the cafe/lobby. Great garden patio to relax in. Only one drawback was the double room we also got for our son smelled musty. The staff were kind in switching his room.
