VERY NICE HOTEL - ROOM CLEAN AND QUIET - what more can be said the rooms were clean - good location and the staff were very friendly and cooperative.

Due to death in the family, had to book room for out of town guests. Hotel staff very sympathetic to our needs.

Hotel staff was excellent, had to switch to a smoking room (we are not smokers) due to our a/c being broken. So my only complaint was the cigarette smell, but Honestly the room was cleaned very well so it wasn't overwhelming.

Good room and clean hotel. No major problems or complaints. Breakfast is pretty bad though.

We stayed here on 4/14-4/17. The lady who checked us in was nice. Went to our room after a long trip from Tyler, TX, so the first thing we did was crash. I woke up a little later so I could shower and noticed there was no shower curtain. I thought it was odd. I went ahead and showered since I stunk like Sonic. Right after I called the front desk, Josh answered. I told him we didn't have a shower curtain and that it was eventually going to cause inconvenience. He apologized and asked if I wanted a new room. It was around 1215am and I said no, my child is asleep but if you could get one in here early in the morning it would be greatly appreciated. He said ok, he would have someone take one early in the a.m. The next morning around 9:30, I went to the pool with my daughter and husband. We didn't go back into the room until 1pm.. I was expecting a shower curtain... nothing. So we had to take showers and use towels to clean up all the water that had gotten on the floor... next day... still no shower curtain. And once again had to use towels as mops. We got room service and they kept putting in new towels, but no shower curtain. My husband mentioned it again to front lady during breakfast and she said she would get one for us, so we ended up getting a curtain Sunday. It really annoyed the heck out of me. Breakfast was good, the usual eggs, ham, cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc. Most staff I encountered were polite and friendly.

The renovations made at this Best Western are among the best we have ever seen. The staff, especially Ms. India goes above and beyond the call of duty. One of the best experiences we have enjoyed at a hotel. Free breakfast is typical, what you would find on most free breakfast menu

Only 25 min from airport and close to New Orleans without New Orleans prices

Very clean, quite rooms, very comfortable bed/pillows, etc. Very nice breakfast.

The hotel was located near enough to New Orleans without being to close to town. They had free WiFi. We had a free breakfast every morning. The menu changed everyday, we had a choice eggs, bacon, cerial, waffles, toast and fruit. It was quite.

Nice, spacious, comfortable room. Breakfast was really good.

It had the necessities I needed for my trip. Was not thrilled with the price.

It was tough finding a hotel in downtown New Orleans during this year's Essence Festival so we looked at hotels within driving distance. The Best Western was perfect for the price. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff was very helpful. We will stay there on future trip's to the Big Easy.

Good location away from the crowds. Comfortable and clean. Had full breakfast.

My experience at the Best Western Hotel in LaPlace, LA was exceptionally nice. The hotel room was extremely clean, welcoming, accommodating, spacious, and quiet. I won't hesitate to search and compare availability with this location and hotel in mind. Overall, it was quite a surprise considering the other five and four stars hotels. Don't knock any three stars hotel until you have stayed at this particular hotel.

I had previously stayed at this hotel in the Honeymoon Suite and wanted the same experience. I booked the room online, but when I went to check into my room, it was a regular room - not what I had made reservations for. When I spoke to the staff about it, they explained that one of the managers had changed my reservations (without notifying me) because the person in the room we wanted had not checked out and continues to extend their stay. I was disappointed that I didn't get the room that I wanted, but the staff was extremely helpful and even contacted the third party agency to make sure I wasn't billed for the room. They even offered us a free bottle of wine. I really appreciate their effort to make up for the situation.

The room was clean and seemed to have been recently updated. Plenty of space in the room, too. Breakfast was great.

I loved this hotel. The location was perfect. It is about 25 minutes from the french quarter, which is close enough to everything, but still out of the crowd.. It is on a quiet exit with several fast food places right next door. The breakfast was great with a lot of variety. The rooms were clean and the beds very soft. The staff were very nice. A great price with lots of value. There is also a local swamp tour a couple of miles away, which was convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

Didn't want to stay right in New Orleans traffic and noise. La Place Best Western was close enough to get where we wanted quickly....and breakfast was good and fast too.

good experience

could of easily received a 5 star review
