Spacious gem!

The home was spacious, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was exactly as described. The host was responsive, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great house and location!

This was a great property in a great location! Access to the river and walkable to downtown. The house was very nice and we used the pool everyday. Only issue was we messaged the host about the downstairs fan outside not working and received no response during our stay.

Gorgeous getaway in New Braunfels, TX - Convenient to San Antonio

This gorgeous property has all the most modern amenities and our family had a lovely stay for Thanksgiving. Really enjoyed renting the golf cart to get around town. The Mets were very comfortable, and the balcony was extremely beautiful, beautiful overlooking the river. The only thing I would say is, we did not know how many steps they were going to be getting into the main level which was challenging for my elderly mother-in-law who walked up both flights very slowly. If only you could install an elevator :). Wish the weather was warmer so that we could've used the pool, but we enjoyed the big family room area, and cooking Thanksgiving dinner.

best on Comal

The PH was top-notch. I am not a crowd person so I do not recommend the Comal on a holiday weekend. However, we left on a Tuesday when the river was quieter and it was an absolute dream. The house was perfect for our group of eight didn't want to leave. We will be back!

Great place and location

The check-in was perfect/no hassle. The house was clean, roomy, very nice accommodations. The location granted easy access for our grown kids and grandkids to do whatever they wanted… the bonus was the nice pool in the back with an excellent view and access to the Comal River. We will go again… highly recommended.

Beautiful Porterhaus

The Porterhaus was beautiful and the location was great. We only had a couple issues but I think it's because it's a new house and just recently put on Vrbo. The first was I had to call to get check-in instructions, we were told at booking check-in was at 4, that is what we planned for, at 130 pm, we still did not have check-in information, I emailed through Vrbo, and got nothing in return. At 3pm, I finally called the property manager to get the instructions. As for the actual house, the sliding glass door in the living room isn't sealed on the sides, so it it open to the outside air, allowing the heat and bugs in. The refrigerator does not cool very well, but the freezer works fantastic. The loft area is pretty warm and probably need a gate or something up there to prevent a child from sleep walking and falling over the edge. I don't want to sound like the place isn't great, just those few things, the beds were comfortable, the pool was amazing, the grill worked fantastic. We loved the big kitchen and the location. We would probably book again in the future.

Fun

Such a fun house to stay in. We spent lots of time on the balcony that overlooks the river. All of the rooms were clean, decorated amazing, and adequate. The pool was nice to hang out in each day.

2023 Work Meeting

This place is amazing! Float the river all day and then come back to the house for more fun at the pool! The house is in the perfect location for everything New Braunfels has to offer!
