Shower water pressure. Bathroom wallpaper coming off walls. Grout was dirty in showers.

We didn't get our room until 10 PM in the evening as they were short staffed. While staffing is an issue all around, they need to pay better to be able to hire more housekeepers. Additionally, the room was not clean. There was mildew in the shower and sink. The carpet had clearly not been vacuumed. The walls had stains and fluids on them. This property needs some serious attention. Finally, it is very frustrating to have to order your own breakfast and wait for it to be made. It is much more convenient to have a continental style breakfast at this kind of hotel and not try to make it fancy.

The rooms were dirty, staff was unhelpful. We were quoted and price and then charged another.

Everything was good! With the exception of the pillows.

Bring your own Clorox spray bottle. The condition of the shower shows years of neglect!!! The black mildew left me aghast! The bathroom is disgusting…. It could be compared to a gas station bathroom. The shower has mildew growing throughout the tiles.

Liked easy access to interstate. On site parking

Great breakfast options. Good various sized pillows

The mattresses were hard the pullout sofa was horribly stained all the way through the back. Pillows were soggy. Breakfast was great so was Linda our waitress. First desk person was a joy the second one yelled at my 13yo for not using tongs for his cookie (which I didn't even see there to use).I almost lost it on her. No fan in the bathroom everything was wet after a shower.

This was a very nice hotel and a friendly staff and we enjoyed our stay. The only negative thing was that breakfast was not free. The continental breakfast was $5.99 and the full breakfast was $10.99. We were not aware of this when we went down to breakfast and it came as a bit of shock as it seems that all hotels have a free breakfast as part of your stay. The waitress told us that when you reserve the room you can do it with or without breakfast (news to us) and when she checked her list for free breakfast we were not on it. While the hotel was very nice we will probably not stay at this chain again for that reason

My wife suffers from arthritis and benefits greatly from swimming daily. We always book hotels with heated pools. In this case, we checked with this Hilton Garden Inn when we made the reservation and again a few days before arrival. We were assured both times the outdoor pool was heated. Of course it was not, and we spoke to the manager, who assured us the heat would be turned op. When nothing resulted, we inspected the heater and found it was out of service - broken down - and had been for several weeks. We were compensated, but bad marks for the run-around.

Beautiful hotel.... Helpful and caring front desk and morning wait staff....really nice...lots to select for breakfast.. Omlettes... Bagels... Bacon...breads.. Sausage... Oatmeal and fruit. Beds were too hard tried two different hotels and rooms... still super firm.

Beds were terrible even with the adjustable feature.

This hotel was very clean and liked the room service. I recommend this hotel to everyone, I found the rooms were spacious in comparison to other hotels.. thanks for stay

Woke up in the morning and went down to load up the truck and there were 5 cars in the parking lot with smashed windows, glass everywhere, massive vandalism and theft. The hotel would not even call the police. They said the police won't come for these type of incidents. So, obviously, they have happened before. It is an unsafe location. The hotel clerk at the front desk was rude and unwilling to help in anyway -- wouldn't even call the police, acted like this happens all the time. The damage was incredible. I would NOT recommend this hotel or this location -- unless you like having the windows smashed out on your vehicle in the middle of the night. Hotel clerk made it seem that this was a risk the consumer takes and this is was quite common at this location.

Nice, clean room with plenty of room for 3 teenagers and two adults. Everyone was happy!

We were impressed with the amount of room available for 2 adults and 2 pre-teens! We gave the girls the two queen beds and everyone had their own space and plenty of room to move around. The room itself was clean and spacious but when I grabbed the ice bucket to fill with ice, the underside of the top was not clean and still had drips of a soda or something on it. We also found a dirty sock near the beds in the back. Other than those two things, our stay was good and we would stay there again. The hotel was close to many places to eat and close to the water park, which was the reason for our trip. We did have a little problem finding the hotel, however, since they did not have a sign up yet. Hopefully, they will get one up soon!

Free breakfast, nice rooms, great place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommend for a family.

The Hilton Garden Inn in New Braunfels is very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our room was spacious and lovely. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. My only caveat is that you must request a room on the opposite side from I-35 in order to avoid road noise.

Great time - hotel was really nice, vet nice hotel staff, good location. We will be back next year.
