Meredith was a delight to rent from! She was responsive to questions within hours and always helpful with a need or anything we wanted. We even requested a steamer for our clothes and she made it happen, outstanding customer service! The villa was a dream, right on the beach with all the amenities of home inside. Our 9 day stay was perfection in the 242! We already loved the Bahamas but this location allowed us to really enjoy the beach almost to ourselves daily! Highly recommend booking…thanks again Casa der mer!

Perfect for families with young kids, no packing the car with everything for the beach and going back and forth, it’s all right in your backyard! The home was very well suited for all the sand with an outdoor shower and washer/dryer. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to make quick meals. Meredith was always a text away and quick to respond. We would recommend this home to anyone!

Great property and even better host.We were a little nervous about renting a place in an area we knew little about. Meredith went above and beyond from the time we rented until we left to connect us with drivers, boat captains, and any restaurant and store in the area. The house was great, the location was exactly what we were looking for (quiet place, but some conveniences within reach), but truly our host and her connections are what the trip magical.Thanks for the awesome place!!

We loved the location of the property on the beach yet the comfort of the property. The beach was largely our own but the nearby facilities were great.

Meredith was hands-down the best host we’ve ever had. The place was immaculate, the beach was beautiful, and the whole trip was incredibly relaxing. I highly highly recommend.

Fabulous!

We had a wonderful stay at Meredith’s! Her home is lovely and the location - on a beautiful sandy beach in a private gated community - was perfect for the quiet and relaxed family getaway we were hoping for. Her home had everything a family needs and she gave great recommendations for restaurants and excursions which made our trip effortless. We highly recommend this accommodation!

A relaxing stay in the beach.

My family (including husband and two teenagers) had a relaxing week on the beach, swimming in the ocean in our backyard every day. Meredith’s recommendations for scheduling airport transport, grocery delivery, and boat excursion were spot on. Highly recommmend.

Beautiful, relaxing getaway

Meredith was always very easy to get ahold of, the property was right on a beautiful beach, and the condo was perfect for our family of five. Meredith advised drivers and a crew for a private boat and both were great as well. Highly recommend!

This property can't be beat. If you want a relaxing beach vacation this is for you. The location is perfect and quiet. The beach and waves are just steps out your backdoor. The property manager gave a ton of great information and recommendations. I would love to stay here again!

10 out of 10 - exceeds expectations - even better than photos.

We were a family of five ages 22-90 seeking a four day get-away/respite from New England snow and found Paradise. This is not the resorty-casino-waterpark part of the island. The villa is beautiful and the location devine. Meredith the owner and Collete, who drove us to and from the airport, helped make our stay amazing. Fellow renters, please take care of this place, it's a gem. We will definitely be back.

Amazing Beach

The beach is literally your back yard. Great access, beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Meredith was a very good and super responsive host. Excellent Wi-Fi. Grocery store nearby. Friendly people everywhere. Whole family love it.

If everyone knew how great this VRBO was then it wouldn't be available for our return trip to the isle because it would be perpetually booked and I wouldn't want that ;). Seriously though, stay here, Casa de Mer is fantastic!

Fantastic location

We enjoyed our stay at Casa de Mer with 4 adults and 1 infant. Meredith was easy to communicate with and the check in process was easy. High chair and pack and play were provided which was very nice. The house was well appointed and the beach right out back was wonderful. The bbq needs some TLC. We would stay again!

Condo was perfect!! We loved that you just walked out the back door and you’re on the beach where we spent most of the week. Condo had everything we needed and Meredith was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We hired Chris as our Taxi Driver and highly recommend him and we also hired a private chef, Chef Everton, who was excellent. It was a perfect week and I highly recommend Casa de Mer!!

Wow. A piece of heaven!!

A beautiful well appointed unit that sits on a private beach. If u want to get away from the crowds and enjoy the magnificent waters of the Bahamas, this is your place. It is very close to a grocery store and also offers lunch and dinner options at the palm cay restaurant. We did not need for anything. A great place for families. The unit was extremely clean and had all the amenities. Wifi and satellite tv were great. Would stay here again

Best vacation ever

From start to finish, this vacation was amazing. Meredith was incredibly responsive from the beginning of the booking process all the way til the end of the trip. She even went above and beyond to help with recommendations for taxis, boat charters, and restaurants. The home was clean, perfect location, and exactly as pictured. I hope to return again, as my family and I enjoyed everything about the house as well as Palm Cay. I have even sent the link to others as it was so amazing. Book this property, you will not regret it.

Beach paradise

Property was as described and just steps away from our very own private beach, in a gated community which was a quiet and very relaxing get away. We used the information in the guide provided by Michael including using Cheryl for our transportation and all was very helpful! We loved the little cafe at the marina that had a Starbucks and supplies if you ran out of something as the location is a ways away from restaurants and grocery stores (Solomon’s was about a 15-20 minute walk). The marina had bikes and scooters for rent and we were able to line up a day trip with captain Rick to Rose Island through the Palm Cay office (highly recommend him and this trip). Would definitely stay here again

Magical place

Everything from the beginning was super. Meredith was amazing. She sent us a very detail information about the property, how to get there and recommendations to places to eat and visit. She also offered her help for booking a taxi to pick us up at the airport. We didn’t rent a car so we call the same driver Colette to take us to different places. She is great. Meridith also arranged to have food delivered to the house before we got there as we were arriving very late. Impressive customer service. The house was comfortable and the beach in front of the property was beautiful and the ocean was lots of fun for the kids. We had a memorable stay that will not be forgotten.

Exceeded Expectations

Our most recent stay at Palm Cay by far exceeded our expectations. The home was as advertised with an amazing view, location and plenty of space for our family of 5. The kitchen was well-equipped and the owner was very responsive when we couldn't figure out how to get to the TV to work. The outdoor furniture and deck area were new and very nice! A nearby grocery store was brand new and had everything we needed (very similar to a US grocery store). We were on site with 3 other families staying at other homes. It was a vacation for the record books! We did a day trip to Baha Mar and also chartered a boat for a day from the marina. It was great, don't hesitate to book this property!
