The location of this hotel is great. Right on the Vanderbilt campus. Walkable to parts of music row and Hillsboro Village. Easy to get to downtown Nashville. Just surprised that Wi-Fi is not included for all reservations.

The only parking was very expensive valet. Also most hotels in this area close to the hospitals give discounts for patients having surgery and their family member staying with them. Not this hotel. Will not be staying here again.

The valet/shuttle/parking staff in front of the location - were amazing, kind, friendly, and absolutely helpful. It was conveniently located so that you would be able to get places, but it was not worth the cost of $400 USD a night. The room is comfortable, basic, but nothing spectacular. They charged me a $30 US fee for early check-in; my flight put me in 2.5 hours earlier than the 4 PM check-in. The Marriott, in my entire history of staying with them, has never charged me. Given that the check out time is 11 AM and I left at 8 AM - and they didn’t refund me for leaving early, I found the fee ridiculous. I also found one of the front desk personnel, not very helpful. I had called twice from my room to advise them that I needed a first aid kit; I had cut my ankle getting out of the shower. After being placed on hold the second time I had to hang up because they took too long - also they never called me back to follow up. Overall, it’s a fine place to stay - but to me, it was not worth the amount that I paid.

The hotel was just fine, the stadium was under construction which made things difficult from a transportation perspective. Was not thrilled with the mandatory $50 off site valet parking that was not made known to me until after I confirmed the room. I did find a spider in my bed which sort of ruined the stay, if I’m being honest.

Staff are polite and wonderful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Bedding is great. The only issue is the construction surrounding the property at this time. However this is not the hotels fault and would not stop me from staying.
