While we have some problem communicating during checkin , this was primarily due to poor cell service in the building. Gabriele was very helpful once we started communicating through the app. The B&B is in an older building but the space is very clean, the owner is very friendly and made a great breakfast. The property is near the Napoli Centrale train station which make is really convenient.

Piccolo ma perfetto

Gabriele was a great host. Passionate about the city, happy to help settle you in and get your bearings. Flat is easy to find and really near the central station. Skip the queues for the buses at the airport and get in a collective taxi for €6 per passenger. Breakfast is a croissant, possibly some cake, coffee and orange juice. Perfectly adequate to get you going. Small, quiet and comfortable room, really enjoyed our stay here.

lovely trip away

We had a lovely stay in naples! Accomodation was ideal for what we needed! So friendly and attentive to our needs at breakfast. Room was a little noisy from the station below. However trains stopped around 10/11 and didn’t start till around 6/7 so we did get some good sleep between these times.

Fantastico! Real Experience of Napoli Life

It was fantastic! Highly recommend. Our host (Gabriele) was very friendly, funny, and helpful. It was great talking with him during breakfast, which had simple, adequate Italian options. His English was good enough to understand for the most part, and if not, google translator helped. He was also very kind with our limited Italian. The apartment (with a smaller room/bathroom/shower) gave a great example of Napoli apartment life! The view of the courtyard was very quaint. Very close to the bus and train station for easy trips to Pompeii and around Napoli (go to the duomo), with nice restaurants near by. If we ever come back to Napoli, we will stay here again!

Great value stay!

The hotel is a very close to the central station and is very convenient for day trip to Pompeii or Sorreto. The room was basic but very clean. It's a little noisy since it's close to the train station but after 11pm it's all quiet until morning and most of the time we were outside and didn't get back until late at night so that didn't really bother us. The owner was very friendly and nice. He recommended very good pizza places and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was included and was pretty basic. For the price, this place is a very good value to stay.

Great host but confused about the other reviews calling this place a dream? It is pretty much on the train tracks with the noise of the train coming every minute until 10pm. Shared bathroom wasnt very clean and smelly. Positives are the host is a nice chap. Located very close to the train station (although this area is nowhere near as nice as other parts of naples). Air con.

Basic hotel good value

About 5 minutes walk from station - not nicest neighbourhood but fine once in accommodation. Host was welcoming and had enough English to give basic information about Naples as well as checking in. Room was spartan but bed comfy. A fair bit of noise as is next to the railway line - but then that’s good for travelling! Room cleanliness was perfect, there’s a shared bathroom which is between 4 rooms so not quite as good but still not anything to complain about. Breakfast was cereal, juice and croissant (teas and coffees also but I don’t drink those) and from 8.30am which was too late for me one day as wanted to maximise time out sightseeing. Overall was good value for money as long as you’re prepared to stay in quite basic accommodation.

The property is about 7 mins from the main Napoli Train Station. It is down a quiet side street and sits right there he train line so is noisey at night time/in the morning. The owner was helpful, shame he couldn’t have offered a slightly earlier breakfast before we left.

Naples.

We had 1 night here and 2 nights round the corner in the Ibis Styles, was supposed to be 3 nights in the ibis but I made an error with the booking. The b&b was £50 cheaper than the ibis and the ibis wouldn’t adjust my booking. The b+b was spot on with free WiFi and cable tv and ensuite. The breakfast was fine in the morning and the host Gabriel was a fine bloke. The neighbourhood is what it is but myself my missus and my 13 year old son had no problems. Naples is a working class city. From the Garibaldi area, you have access to lots of places to visit including Pompeii and mount vesuvius - rail, metro and buses are cheap ways of travelling and all on the doorstep. Easy access to airport.

Nice place but rundown neighborhood

Napoli Station BnB is a nice place. But the neighbor is run down. A bit scary especially at night. And the host specifically warned me that if I walked back to the BnB I could be robbed. Their are homeless people who live in he street in the neighborhood and their are also prostitutes in the area.. The host was nice and filling in for his wife who was away. The room was adequate. The shared bathroom had plenty of hot water. The breakfast was standard for these type of accommodations in Italy. Croissant and and a nice cup of coffee from an espresso machine. I spent three nights.And was basically alone in this accommodation. You enter and leave on your own, through a court yard and two locked doors, one outside and one entering the BnB..Its very close to the RR station but hard to find when you arrive for the first time. Also the metro is very close to the BnB

Great price to quality ratio

Nicely placed near the train station, with an easy access to the historical parts of the city by metro. Extremely nice and accommodating owners. Rooms are fresh and spacious enough. If your are extremely sensitive to the noise at night, keep in mind that train tracks can be seen from the windows, so the trains can be heard, but for us it really was not a problem at all.

Great location next to Napoli Centrale station

Vera and Gabry's bnb is very clean and welcoming. It was a bit difficult to find the entrance - easily fixed if you contact the host prior. Able to walk to all attractions. The room and bathroom are very clean and spacious. Vera helped us everyday with our plans and gave us a map plus great suggestions/directions - the Vera and Gabry super combo really make this place - a must if visiting Naples.
