This hotel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in, and I have been in many around the world. View from the room is extraordinary and it’s definitely worth that extra money to get a room with a sea view. Facilities in the room exceeded all my expectations, and a complimentary evening drink, including bottle of wine, water and juices, together with regional sweet pastries served to our room was a really nice surprise. Breakfast was also faultless with variety of choices, from cooked breakfast to amazing Italian cakes. The best of all was that staff working at the reception who made our stay unforgettable. The attention to detail and care for the guests they demonstrated really made such a difference. And yes, the restaurant on the top floor with a balcony was closed for renovation, but the view from the room was equally as good. And I think that the price that hotel charges for the room has been reduced since renovation, which can only be a good thing. On top of that, the hotel tried to compensate for this throughout our stay with small acts of care and attention so we really did not feel we missed out on something.
This is a really great hotel. The staff could not be nicer. Right from the moment you arrive the treat you like you have been there forever. I would highly recommend this hotel. Well done to all the staff.
We booked for the views and very disappointed that the roof terrace was closed. Plumbing is a bit archaic and flushing the loo in our de luxe room was a bit of an issue. A bit fussy for our liking , staff lovely but we would have liked to have been pre warned about the roof being closed. We got 3 apples left in our room each day a bit unnecessary! Breakfast buffet average which summed up our visit not the luxury experience we were expecting.
My husband and I were celebrating several anniversaries simultaneously so we decided to book Parker's. We were treated like royalty by all the staff and had a wonderful time. We have stayed in many five star hotels before but this stay was the best ever. Initially, I was a little disappointed with the room size but then a layer of roses in the shape of a heart on our huge bed (extremely comfortable), chocolate strawberries and chilled pro secco made us feel very special. The following day, a lovely birthday cake was delivered to our room for my husband- a lovely gesture. The breakfast was wonderful in an ornate setting. The outdoor terrace was being renovated but we had breakfast there one day due to a large business conference taking place and the views are spectacular. The concierge and front house staff especially TazianIa (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) were extremely friendly and helpful. Our whole stay was like being transported back in time to the era of Oscar Wilde, who stayed and dined here. Thank you very much everybody at Grand Hotel Parker's.
We spent five nights at the hotel after moving there from another hotel which wasn’t up to scratch. The staff were very warm and welcoming not just when we arrived but every morning. Our room overlooking the bay was well appointed with a large bathroom. It was a tad noisy with the window open. It’s also very easy to walk from the hotel to the funicular and then get the subway from the top of the hill into the city. Thoroughly recommended.
The hotel is grandly situated in hilly Naples. The staff speak excellent English and are very helpful. The public spaces are beautiful and my room had been nicely updated. My only disappointment was that the dining room atop the hotel was closed, so that I could not enjoy the fabulous views. (They told me it is being renovated.) The breakfast buffet is great and dinner was excellent (and in their ground floor dining room). Some guests may not like the fact that the hotel is a bit far from the central historical area, but cabs are plentiful.
Just returned here after a 4 day break. Don’t normally leave reviews but felt I should after our stay here. By far one of the best hotels we have stayed in, cannot fault the staff or excellent service received. Room was clean and today and had a lovely view over Naples. Was a little out of the way of things. But we actually preferred this, less noise and dirt! 10 min walk to metro or taxi €13 to old Naples. In all just a fantastic place to stay and if we return to Naples it will be to Hotel Parker’s
I simply can't recommend Grand Hotel Parker's enough. My girlfriend and I came to Naples for 5 nights to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. We arrived at the hotel on Sunday morning to a lovely greeting from the doorman and Marco and Daniele on the front desk. We then gave the bold last minute request of acquiring tickets to see Napoli play that same day (the match was quite literally under 2 hours away). Within 30 minutes Marco had acquired our tickets and we were on our way. Thank you so much for this! It was such an incredible experience that wouldn't have been made possible without you. The rooms had been newly renovated and they exceeded every expectation we had when booking, far beyond the pictures currently provided on TripAdvisor. I can't emphasise how much the staff made our stay. They are friendly, approachable and entirely professional; especially those on the front desk and the doormen outside. Thank you so much for making our trip so special!
My husband and I spent 8 days in this magnificent hotel in March 2018. It was a real joy. The hotel is full of old worldly charm - high ceilings, bright and cheery with wonderful views over the bay of Naples and Vesuvius. The breakfasts were amazing - more than enough to see you through the day until you wandered through the streets of Naples for dinner at night. Unless of course you were too tired exploring and just wanted to enjoy the pleasures of the hotel's new and excellent menu. The staff were extraordinary. They were always around. Reception was always attended by at least 2 members of staff so they were always available for any matters you might want to discuss with them. Each one took the trouble to get to know you and greeted you by name each time they saw you. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they gave us some great help and advice during our stay of places to go and how to get there.
We are really happy with our stay at Grand Hotel Parker’s. We chose Naples to celebrate my birthday and our wedding anniversary and we were not wrong to choose this hôtel. From impecable areas, to súper well done room cleaning (the housekeeping ladies are so nice they even arrange your clothes and shoes) to very friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Francesco, Inma, Tiziana, Marco, Daniele, Vincenzo and Salvatore in the reception and Francesco, Massimo and Giovanni the bell men team, the housekeeping ladies we crossed in our floor as well as the room service man who brought ice daily, they all had a great smile each and every time they saw us. The front of the house team recommend and give very good directions with much pleasure and tenacity. Most importantly: they communicate very well between departments. I needed ice often due to a health condition ( the air conditioning is not Instituted until higher temperatures) and they would already arrange to bring a daily and nightly bag of ice without missing once. Also, I cannot miss to thank publicly their kindness for arranging cake, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries the night of birthday. We hadn’t stopped sightseeing which left no opportunity for us to get a cake and a candle hence upon our way back to the hotel, I had this strange feeling that something was just missing, only until I opened our room’s door and got even emotional by seeing the cake and such delicacies from the Team. The rose petal set up was also such a detail. Thank you thank you, thank you! At breakfast time, the staff was always attentive and available. Everytime something was missing from the buffet they would quickly replace. Congratulation to the breakfast team! And congratulations to the Hotel manager who clearly motivates and directs his employees hence the communication, warmth and experience of the staff shines brightly. Valeria & Cyrille
