The Spa at Norwich is a place to unwind, relax and be tranquil. The atmosphere is serene and calming. All services are specified to the client at choice and activities are just the right amount.

Had an issue with price of one of the services provided. Each employee I spoke with had a different answer

Have spent time here many times and will keep returning. It is THE place for relaxation and comfort!

The Norwich Inn is such a find! I live nearby and we stayed here when my mother and grandmother were visiting. It is a lowkey Inn that is not trying to rip you off at every turn. The grounds are beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The spa is also very nice. I really enjoyed the juice bar/cafe that we ate lunch at after our spa treatments. If you stay at the Inn and you don't want to spend extra money on expensive spa treatments, you can use the spa jacuzzi, sauna, and pool at no extra charge.

I wanted a special time and rest on my staycation until the waterbug decided to move in with us... Nasty.....a discount wasn't enough off of our breakfast...

I wanted to love this hotel spa. It is not a spa -like experience compared to others I have been to. More like spa to the masses. Rooms are tiny and dark. Place was crowded , not so relaxing. Holiday inn rooms are bigger. No great views. It is stressful to pre book everything. You have to commit to planning every hour of your activities ahead of time or you risk being closed out. Also, each exercise class runs about 22 dollars, which is high . It says 18 in the brochure but in tiny print it says plus tax and gratuities. Take 4 classes and it is about $100 bucks. If you don't go and want to take nap? Tough . You pay. I found this stressful and not condusive to relaxing. Oh, they do include a walk for free. Bad news is that it is at 7 AM. They offer morning coffee for free from 7-10 in lobby. Bad news is they ran out at 8. We had to find folks to refill. The gym is adequate except for guys who lift free weights, as stops at 50 lbs. Pool is only indoors and is small but adequate. Pluses : tea time at 3,although staff could keep better eye on replentishing empties and cleaning the few tables. Wine tasting and cheese. It is literally a taste, to wet your mouth. Staff generally sweet. Chocolates on bed. Very near Mohegan Sun. And not far from Foxwoods, so lots of dinner opportunities. Morning meditation and yoga. Thursday guitar player in lounge was great. Didn't hear the other entertainer on Fri,sat.

I traveled to the Inn for a girls weekend. The check-inn was very easy and the gentleman we worked with, Brandon, was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was not at all what we expected. It was clean but in high need of a makeover. The lock fell out of the door and the tv did not work. Accommodations would have been far superior at a Courtyard or Holiday Inn. Our spa experience was lacking too. My massage and facial were not great. It felt more like a factory of women in white robes than a relaxing, calming experience. Will not go back! The Red Door Spa at Marriott Mystic blew this place away!

We didn't want to stay at the hotel at Mohegan Sun and wanted something quainter. We couldn't have picked a better place! The accomodations and the staff were perfect - we couldn't have asked for more!

This was such a nice and relaxing stay. The hotel is beautiful as is the spa. It was crowded and finding a seat in the relaxation room or hot tub was difficult but if it was not right after Christmas there would be plenty of room. Thy offered many complimentary services and pay as you go fitness classes. Highly recommended!

This is my second time attending the spa. The staff was so kind and helpful and the services were amazing! The food was slightly disappointing! I ordered the soup and was informed that the new chef was no longer making it. Although I enjoyed eating at Ascots the food by the time it got there was kind of cold. Despite this I will be back. The spa was so relaxing it is too great to pass up

We went away for an anniversary weekend. What a blast! Staff was wonderful, dinner at the on-site restaurant was 4.5*, and the pools were super relaxing. Villa was perfect, only missing a flat screen tv :) The fireplaces are only used in the winter (there was a sign explaining that there but not when we booked our trip via obtz). Tea time and the wine tasting (both free) were a great bonus. So were the chocolate strawberries someone delivered to our room as a gift. We will definitely be returning :)

With the spa services, cozy bar, tasteful lobby and common areas, plan on a massage and stay in your robe all day!

The hotel was nice, clean and had a lot to offer guest, such as the spa, hiking, walking trails, a short distance from Mohegan Sun. They also offer a buffet, I didn't eat it, but it looked pretty good. The one thing I didn't like is that they add a $6 fee for every guest that books through a travel site stating the travel site only charges the room rental fee and that fee was for bottled waters, and the right to walk around the facility and the right to self park. Nonsense charges that just irritate people. That fee should be included with the room rental They also have on the policy when you sign in that if you don't return the plastic swipe room key that they will charge you $100 for failure to return each key. A swipe card that probably cost 50 cents. Other than these ridiculous polices that nickel and dime people it was a nice time. So my suggestion for anyone who visits there, it's a nice place to visit, but read everything you sign.

The Norwich Inn & Spa ain't what it used to be! The main house is looking shabby. The furniture needs recovering for sure.Evidently when one books a deal on Orbitz, one is "assigned" to a "villa". These are condos owned by individuals who use them as time shares, or vacations.. none of the staff seemed certain. What was certain is that they're run by a condo association responsible for outdoor maintenance which has been left to peeling paint, broken cement, etc. The villa was musty smelling, dark, depressing.thin towels They "comped"our breakfast..Glad to be out of there

i had 2 spa treatments that were great. I took a meditation class and a walk around the spa. My husband enjoyed his spa treatment too. Nothing was missing from the weekend. The hotel employees were gracious and very helpful.

We had a wonderful time, quaint and quiet, comfortable and relaxing. The staff is truly accomodating and the spa treatments were amazing. We can't wait to go back.

We chose the hotel because we were going to the nearby Mohegan Sun Casino to watch a women's basketball game and play a little blackjack and poker. [...] it was all that was advertised -- spacious room; large working Spa with several heated pools and hot tubs; free scones and tea at 3:00, free wine tasting with cheese and crackers at 5; etc. It was unusual to see about half the guests walking around in the plush white robes the hotel provided. We were there only one night -- less that 24 hours -- so did not see a lot of people; but judging from the wine-tasting, men are definitely in the minority. (Their in room brochure has a page that says "Real men do spa." I'm sure that's true but privileges on a nearby municipal golf course are provided just in case.) While I played in a poker tournament in the morning, my wife had a "better than average" deep massage. If this type of experience appeals to you and you can get a discounted price, I highly recommend staying at the Spa.

It was great. I had a wonderful stay.
