Check in was easy, they even accommodated early check in. Room had everything we needed and super close to the rink. The staff is friendly and always busy working on something. We were there on a weekend so it said they are renovating which I noticed. Not because of noise or anything. They placed wet paint signs around to inform guest, which I appreciated. They are right off the highway which made travel easy. Within 15-20 minutes there is shopping, casinos, restaurants and more. They have gained a future guest. Thanks Hampton

This hotel was in nice condition and was very clean. Our bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. We could hear some noise in the hallway and stairwell across the hall, but not enough to keep us awake. The bathroom was large and clean. The shower had good water pressure, but the curtain was not long enough to cover the entire tub edge, so water got on the floor every time someone used the shower. Slightly annoying. The free breakfast was really good. The omelets were tasty, as well as the bacon and sausage. There were lots of options including oatmeal, fruit, cereal and waffles with toppings. Nice selection. The coffee was good, as well, and plentiful. The pool and jacuzzi area looked beautiful but we didn't have a chance to use it. The first night we arrived too late and the second night, there were a bunch of families with kids in the pool at 9:30 pm so we didn't attempt to use the jacuzzi at that point. The front desk woman was curt with us when we checked in, but the other staff we interacted with during our stay were pleasant. The location was close to the highway, which is convenient, however, our room was very close to the road and the highway noise woke us in the mornings. On the opposite side of the building, the rooms have a cemetery view - green and quiet, but maybe a bit creepy. But if you don't mind that, ask for a room on that side. Overall, our stay was pleasant and we would stay again.

Didn't get what we stayed for

My family and I stay at Hampton Inn locations, from state to state. We enjoy the consistency between locations. Our room itself was comfortable. However, we chose this location, for proximity to where we were going (there were 2 other Hampton Inn locations in the area as well), with the main reason for us choosing this location being price point AND they have an indoor pool. We checked in Friday, late afternoon, and went for dinner, then made it to the pool for a little under an hour, as it remains open until 10pm. The pool and surrounding area, is not well maintained. The ground was dirty, and there were 2 different groups of people eating in there, while signs clearly say no food allowed. Also, there were no towels. I had to go to the desk to request them, which apparently another guest had already requested 15 minutes prior to me. Fast forward to Saturday morning. My family and I ate breakfast at 7am, hoping to get to the pool early afterward. As we got to the elevator, next to the pool, there was a handwritten sign saying the pool wouldn't be open until 12 noon (normally open 6am). We patiently went back to our room to relax. We came back at 12:05, to find another sign, now pushing to pool opening until 3pm. At that point, we got dressed and went out, as we had other plans. So the MAIN reason we booked this location, was taken away from us, without reason. I received a text from Hampton Inn asking how the stay was, and I complained about the pool, but never heard back.
