I liked that it was convenient to the rest of Foxwoods. The rooms are really dated. The thermostat is still a knob you turn from hot to cold like in the 90s. Above the bed there was a blinking white light that drove me crazy at night. It illuminated every 3 seconds or so and it was directly over the bed. It was the only hotel where it's valet services and parking lot garage was closed. That will be the first and last time I ever choose the Great Cedar. I will choose Grand Pequot or Fox Tower instead.
Hot tub was lit in the suite. Cedars is overpriced for Foxwoods' definition of "fine dining". Scorpion Bar is a better option.
The suite with the jacuzzi the casino great staff
It’s old. Needs some updating in the room. Also the people next to me have their tv blasting.
Fun, especially for a couple! The outlets being attached added a great amount of fun as well
The room was standard for the money. And the front desk staff had the personality of a toad! Customer service sucked!
The hotel is very close to all the main restaurants and concession areas in the casino which was very convenient!
The location was great and close to all the action...however it was not clear the easiest way to get our bags to the room and it was our first time so we were confused to the best place to park and how to get our stuff from point a to point b
I was ready to leave before I even got my room key. The front desk was the worst experience I ever encountered. Unprofessional and nasty. To my surprise, being a busy casino, they did not know how to handle a crowd. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Will stay again soon with more time to spare and enjoy all they have to offers
One of three hotels at Foxwoods, the place is huge and there are many options to pass the time. Preferably, not in the room. Time for a facelift! Main complaint is cleanliness- signs of wear and smudges everywhere. Bed was comfy enough and it’s fine to have coffee in the room and a mini fridge but the toiletries are poor and television channels weak. The main issue is that it simply wasn’t up to par in the rooms for cleanliness. Furniture worn and chipped and windows smudged. The Fox Tower where I stayed several years ago was much better but who knows these days.
Didn't like the food. Ddn't have people to help in information on the casino floor
Fun place lots to do very clean , veranda had a good breakfast
