The entire stay was pleasant, the area beautiful, the staff excellent, however, since they do not have a swimming pool, their nightly rates should be lower. The shuttle driver named Gabriela was very efficient, informative and sweet. It would be nice if they convert a piece of their huge parking lot, (that is not all necessary) an area to relax around a fire pit with loungers and chairs❤️

If you're a motel type of person this ones for you. Otherwise move swiftly in the opposite direction. Engagement with the woman at the front was fine. She was informative especially about the breakfast options. Respectfully, breakfast options she mentioned are a joke. Fruity-O's, Flakes and Cheerios. For a grand total of 3 whopping options and 2 waffle irons. When traveling with kids familiar with options this is not appealing. It was August and the beds had a wool type polyester blanket on them. After returning from dinner at Foxwoods we all got comfortable and sat ON the beds to watch TV. That was fine. BUT the moment we pulled back the blankets and laid on the bed - we INSTANTLY became itchy. Not a bed bug itchy but a dirty sheet itchy. It is evident those beds are made BUT the linens are NOT WASHED!!! One pillow had a large black circular stain on it. What looked like ink marks on the flat sheet. What felt like little particles as you lay. My kids and I were utterly disgusted. Fortunately I travel with disposable sheets. We were able to cover one bed and two pillows and had a disposable flat sheet to cover ourselves. We all slept on that one bed together and left the other bed alone. I will not return or recommend- even if like us you chose for proximity. When we were searching rooms at the Casino were NOT available that is the ONLY reason we went with this option for proximity. Would have happily paid the normal $300-400 rate for a good night's rest at Foxwoods.

Decent place for the money

Place is extremely clean. Furniture is a bit dated but looks like they are fixing it up. Shower looks like it was replaced. Over all not a bad place.

The property was pretty central to the area we were visiting. The room felt very damp. The weather was warm with high humidity. Thinking maybe the carpet may have been washed and never really fully dried? Other than that the stay was great.

Check in was slow, breakfast items and juice were lacking, toilet paper and Kleenex were thinnest I’ve ever used. Toilet flushing was very loud. Room was clean but did have a slight smell (maybe cleaning products). Bed was comfortable.

The place was dirty when we first arrived the lady at the desk was not friendly at all went upstairs to the room the hallway smell like somebody was smoking marijuana, and it smell like mildew went inside. The room. Looks nothing like it did on the brochure. The room smelled also the fan in the bathroom makes so much noise. I had to shut it off so it was gonna fall out of the ceiling AC when it came on sound like a diesel truck. The sink in the bathroom was overflowing. The floor was all dirty and sticky in the bathroom turned on the Jacuzzi the water shut up in the air. The Jacuzzi knobs were turned up upward. The bed smelled went down and I said I wanted a refund. I was gonna go somewhere else they told me nope too bad you could go somewhere else, but I’m not gonna give you a refund. There was no hot water. We took cold showers. We only went there to take a shower and left. Did not even stay overnight asking for a full refund please do not stay at this hotel. There’s hardly any cars there weeds going in the parking lot all over the place now I see why when I went to check out on Sunday morning there was no food to eat at the continental breakfast everything was gone already. I said to them with the food they told me you should’ve got here at 6 AM to not stay at this hotel, you’d be wasting your time and money. Trust me on this.

Pros: the hourly shuttle to the casino. Only redeeming quality of the stuff I checked out Cons: WiFi didn’t work. Phone and computer wouldn’t connect. Few outlets. Most were loose. Room was dated complete with an older telephone that was nicotine stained. The. aC while a beast - loud/virbrated. Wedging a cuck chair between the table and unit solved this I’d probably check other local places with shuttles if I go again. In fairness , I did not report the issues to staff.

Booked for two nights, breakfast was a great addition! Staff very welcoming and friendly. Ended up checking out after night 1 due to the heavy smell in the room. The lobby smells amazing compared to how the rooms smell. I even brought it up casually to the man at the front desk and he just nodded. It was pretty awful, went out and purchased cinnamon sticks and candles just to sleep the first night.

Older hotel but would return

This is an older hotel and could use a renovation. However, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. They need to get the front desk some help on the weekend. It’s right down the road from Foxwoods and they do have a shuttle service.
