No communication, black mold, broken door.
We got in the room, I left to get our stuff. Wife and kid were in the room and when i came back up the door would not open. The code worked but the handle physically would not unlock the door. After wiggling the handle for 10 minutes i finally pushed in the door and found a screw bent at a 90° had come out and was holding the door shut. The door is rotten and is old, somebody did a halfway job of fixing it and just made it worse. Contacted the host to let them know and see about getting it fixed. NO REPLY. We’ve checked out and still NO REPLY. Place was dirty, black mold on the ac units, stevia packets in the floor, theres 2 square holes that were cut out the wall and out back? And not patched? Dont know what that is. Never got a reply from the host or owner the entire time we stayed here. Messaged on vrbo and email; and we called the number and left a message. We are not thrilled and we will never stay with this host again. Overall the other staff of the resort was very nice, with clean bathrooms and clean pool area. If only we could say the same for the room.
