Unfortunately, my first time in Myrtle Beach was not a happy experience. Upon check-in, I received a door badge/key to a room, but after hauling my luggage to the very end of the hallway on the 16th floor I was unable to unlock the door. After waiting 15 minutes for someone to come up and fix the problem, I went back downstairs to the desk and learned I was given a badge to the wrong building! When I finally gained access to my room, it felt cold & damp. The bed sheets seemed to big for the mattress and were wadded up at the foot of the bed and hidden by the comforter. The next morning I found there was very little water pressure in the shower, and there was a foreign substance smeared on the curtains near the top edge. Be prepared to wait for an elevator up to your room (the line was over 50 feet long at one point, and the only ice machine is on the ground floor.

Great hotel and very fun and friendly pool staff. Made our golf trip a great experience.

Great stay! Clean and comfortable. great bar on the beach!

Needs standard pillows. Rates too high with resort fees for nothing provided and parking charges for necessary parking in non crowded area. Added fees total rip offs!!!

Very nice. Would differently come and stay again maybe next time we'll get a ocean front condo instead of just a view. The only thing Palms should consider is having all exclusive packages. That would have made our trip even more enjoyable.

Great hotel,we really enjoy our stay. Service and location were great. We are looking forward in coming back!

My Fianc'e and I came down for a quick visit for a couple days. We had the best time! It was great! WiFi was a little weak but really didn't need it that much. The room service was ridiculously high but there are two restaurants on site that have reasonable prices and good food.

The royal palms was a very nice hotel, had the beach front room which was nice. The were nice but a bit limited had three small pools that got crowded at times. The room itself was very nice clean and spacious. Everything at the hotel was very nice and somewhat new I would stay again at this location

This is a very nice place. There is a pool, there is nice restaurant but mostly bar around the pool with walkout to the beach. Most of the time there was life music (we were there around July 4th). It's kids friendly and yet there is lots of young people dancing, etc. Prices are reasonable, overall it is great place located just a little bit (not much) out of Myrtle Beach downtown. Within 15 minutes you can be anywhere you want.

Excellent hotel with loads to do with your family. Plenty of pools, water park for kids, oceanfront..perfect weather happiness :) only problem that occurred was that my room did not have working air conditioning for 3 days.

It was nice and the staff was great I will go back to stay again

We stayed there for 4 nights. Everything was very smooth. No problems. Strongly recommend this place...

It was a good location a little form the little shops. But overall had a good beach.

This was a very nice hotel room with a stunning view of the beach. The staff was very polite and helpful.

Room was wonderful. View of the ocean was great. Really loved the food and drinks at the bar.

Everything was perfect the staff was great we had a wonderful time our room was perfect very clean every one was very nice and helpful I will be returning there i would recommend that everyone go there

If it is the sound and beauty of the beach you want, this place is tops.

It is in North Myrtle...so you have to drive at least 15 mins to get there. Parking is around $9.00 per day. Good place to stay as it shares Hilton facilities.

My family members and I (5 adults including my by 88 year old mom) spent three nights during Christmas at the fabulous Royale Palms! From the time we drove onto the immaculate grounds and entered the lobby with beautifully decorated Christmas trees--not to mention the plush two-bedroom condo--until the time we regrettably had to leave, we were all blown away by this incredible facility. All beds had several fluffy pillows and were especially comfortable including the sleeper sofa. Our ocean view from our 15th floor balcony was spectacular! The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of plates, glasses and silverware along with adequate cookware and a very efficient stove, fridge, and dishwasher. The beach was just a short walk away which made it very accessible for nice morning or evening strolls. I could go on and on about this fantastic beach experience!!!

Great hotel. Very clean rooms. Great pools with kids area.

The elevator is at the far end.. No water pressure! What is on the curtains?!?
