Good, staying for a conference. Location was good, staff was excellent.

Great location for CCU and Shoppung outlet!!!! Recommend if visiting the university or attending an athletic game

Great place, roomy suites, helpful staff. We will stay here again in the future. It is a very convenient location if visiting Coastal Carolina University. The third floor is being renovated but construction was not a problem.

We had a nice stay while we moved our daughter into CCU.

Staff very friendly but room dirty. Walls with brown spots, thick dust on carpet baseboards, toilet paper holder looks like hadn't been cleaned in years, fridge dirty. Room smells bad. Carpet sticky. Info folder sticky. Remote control with chunks of dirt/debris stuck between buttons.

I stay here every time I visit my sister and her family. Its one of very few hotels in the area with queen sized beds, not just doubles. I would prefer the beds to be slightly firmer and to have an open outlet for cell ph and computer charging near the bed. My only 2 complaints. Overall, I will be staying here again and again.

Very convenient to CCU. Nice room and much better than expected.

If you are visiting coastal Carolina University this is a great hotel to stay at. It is just around the corner from the University and there are facilities nearby to eat and shop at. The complementary breakfast was very good and the rooms are up to date and clean.

everything was great, there was a "residual" slight smell from previous smoking even though it was a smoke free room . The staff at desk assured us we would not be held responsible though.

Stayed here for my sons freshman orientation at CC University. It was ok/tolerable considering price and proximity to University. It would have been very disappointing for a vacation. The hotel was rough around the edges in that it seemed like maintenance was a bit lacking. For instance, the light switch in the bathroom of one of our.two rooms didn't work unless you played with it, door trim was missing on the bathroom door, the TV appeared to be older than my son and the furnishings seemed worn and outdated. We wanted a place.to crash for one night and so it served its purpose. If I have to go down for just one night again we'll probably try another place in the area or deal with this hotel again. In October we are planning a long weekend (2-3 nights) down there to relax and visit our son. We'll probably pass on comfort suites at the University for that visit. By the way the complimentary breakfast wasn't bad. Scrambled eggs, make your own waffles, sausage, bagels etc. The room it was in is small so it could be crowded. Worst thing about it.... everything.... plates, cups etc was plastic or styrofoam and there wasn't a recycling bin in sight. Stinks that all that material will still be sitting in a landfill long after my son graduates... heck long after my son's kids graduate from college.

We were there to visit Coastal Carolina University and this hotel is 5 minutes away. It also was only about 15 minutes from Myrtle Beach. Perfect for both activities.

Bathroom lacked shelve space for shaving and grooming items. Sink had only a small surface to set items on and hotel bathroom supplies were placed on the back of the to;et tank. Room was very roomy and breakfast was outstanding. Shopping, dinning, hospital and attractions were close by.

The rooms are spacious, the baths are well-appointed, and the beds are not bad. Extras like the small fridge in room were a pleasant surprise.
