The most beautiful hotel with the most beautiful view. The staff was so sweet and their breakfast was amazing. The beach is a 5 minute walk if even and you get access to free sun beds from the hotel next door. The service was amazing I have nothing to complain about for this hotel. There’s a supermarket right next to the hotel with the best snacks and drinks and there’s several stores on the beach with clothes, souvenirs, and more. Don’t even think twice just book this hotel if you’re considering it. It’s also very close to the town and little Venice, it’s a 10 minute bus ride and about the same for a taxi
The pools were amazing and so was the free breakfast! Most of the staff was awesome! Just a grumpy one or too. Our room was huge and had an amazing view. I think they need a second person at all times in the lobby to deal w concierge items and a separate one for lobby items. The one girl was always way too over worked but there always seemed to be obe extra worker near the bar.
We loved this hotel! From the moment we were picked up at the Ferry port to the moment we were dropped back off the staff was amazing The hotel offers free pick up and drop off to the ferry and the driver Kostas is so nice and had some good nearby restaurant tips for us! The hotel is beautiful with 2 gorgeous pools and a hot tub. And they have a bar that seemed to be open all day and late night. The breakfast was huge with a lot of good food to choose from. Our room was beautiful and had an incredible view of the sea and the mountains! The beach is in walking distance just down the hill and we were able to use the beach chairs of the sister hotel at no charge. The beach was beautiful! Also in walking distance is a bus stop which will take you to downtown Chora where the main action is happening with lots of restaurants and shops and the windmills and the old Venetian Harbor. We also went on the boat trip that the hotel recommended and helped us book. It was awesome! We stopped to see ruins at Delos Island first and then stopped at a spot for swimming and had an amazing lunch cooked on board! We loved Mykonos and we loved our stay at the George Hotel! Will definitely stay there again if I'm back to Mykonos.

This property was very clean, the bathroom/room was huge for two people (twin bed room), and we were right in front of the pool (lucky!). The beds/linens were very posh and comfortable. The air conditioning unit in the room was on point, and this review is being written by a native Floridian who knows what good central air feels like. The actual property is a short walk to the beach, and you can use the chairs for free at their sister property. Be warned, this is first come/first serve, and if you get down to the beach and no one is leaving, there is really no space to just lay on the beach with a towel. The one serious drawback that I had with this property is that they have marble tile surrounding the pool area, and it is EXTREMELY slippery. The first day there, I slipped and caught myself on a railing but bruised my arm pretty good (and no, I was not drinking yet!). I did not alert the hotel staff, but it seems like a major design flaw that this flooring surrounds a pool. The next day I met an Australian couple, and the wife told me her husband slipped the day before and was in some serious pain. Positive - the bus stop is close to get to Mykonos Town, and also the food at the hotel was reasonable and good for a poolside lunch. Breakfast was really, really good for a hotel buffet! The coffee machine had every choice you've ever wanted, lots of pastries, eggs, and yummy Greek yogurt with all the toppings your heart desired.

I had a great stay at The George. It's centrally located and close to several beaches including Paradise which is about a 15 minute drive. There is also a beach located about a five minute walk to the hotel with nice restaurants.
We stayed at the George Hotel for three nights in September 2017. We were very surprised at the quality of this hotel given the great deal on price. The hotel is perfectly situated on the island. Steps away from a popular beach and a short ride from Mykonos Town. The room had a great balcony overlooking the water (I highly recommend Room 13). The room was perfectly clean and serviced daily. The breakfast was included and had many great options. Great way to start the day. The pool is well maintained and we spent hours lounging on the deck in the sun. The hotel has a bar/restaurant on site that will wait on you at the pool (prices are reasonable). The two ladies at the front desk were super knowledgeable and pleasant. We relied on them for a number of restaurant and excursion recommendations. The hotel has free transportation to and from the port/airport, which is a nice savings. HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!
Location, View, Service, Breakfast, Comfort...... EXCELLENT!!!! Walking distance to Beach and Great Restaurants. Easy bus ride to Platis Gialos town (Little Venice, Restaurant, Shops and Night Clubs). Safe town, my 21 and 22 year old kids had a blast!!!
