Located on the beach in Phillipsville, this gorgeous house offers 3 bedrooms, 2 with king beds and with additional room for air mattresses. and a 3rd with a queen bed. Perfect for a group getaway, this property boasts heating, WiFi, AC, a washing machine, and more. Experience the amazing avenue of the giants, just 5 minute walk to Franklin Grove, the first old growth redwood preserve of many.
You will have fabulous views of the river and be able to walk right down to the Eel river bar as it flows through the property. The water is calm and great for fishing, swimming, boating and just laying about in the spring and summer.

The property was clean and family friendly. It was very near many of the hikes and other amenities we were hoping to experience during our visit to the redwoods. We loved that it was right on the river, which was slow moving and fun to play in. The area was a little sketchy and maybe a little overpriced, but the woods were beautiful, and the interior of the home was nice. I didn't love that you couldn't flush any of the toilet paper. With two families, that adds up. I also didn't love that there wasn't enough seating around the table for all of us or enough beds. The listing mentions several more beds than are actually included. There were air mattresses, but one of them didn't stay inflated. Overall, it was a very positive experience. The location in the redwoods was definitely the selling point. We had a great time, and the hosts were very kind and accommodating.

Beautiful and roomy place. Riverview was great, but low water conditions kept us away. Struggled with the blow up beds, but all was good. Probably operator error with the deflations!

Family Vacation

Perfect place for a family gathering. Clean and inviting home. We had our two dogs with us, the property is pet friendly with fenced pet areas. Full river access. Would stay again.

Beauty in Phillipsville

The cabin, located at the south end of the avenue of the giants was close to hiking trails, numerous redwood groves, and small towns (Garberville, Redcrest, Scotia, Rio Dell and Ferndale) drive a little further and you can visit Eureka. The view from the home’s back deck was breathtaking. The eel river was in the backyard and easy to access as often as our family wanted. The most charming part of this stay was the owner and his wife, very responsive to guests needs. Very helpful and very friendly!
