THE OLD CHARM IT HAS, NO TV. LOVE THAT. THEY ARE BOOKS IN YOUR ROOM TO READ. YOU CAN STROLL DOWN TO THE RIVER.

There is only one Benbow Inn. Everyone should stay here once.

Location was great, food and bar staff was excellent. Beautiful hotel with charm. Front desk service was rude. Parking was bad.

We were passing through the area and chose this hotel because it looked to be the nicest for the money in the area. It was quite pleasant overall but undergoing construction (I knew this ahead of time) and it took a little away from the experience. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful; grounds are lovely out by the river - terrace is quite pretty although not yet open for the season for meal service (weekend before Memorial day). The restaurant is rather pricey but they have a captive audience for finer dining so they can get away with it. The room was comfortable and large; the furnishings were lovely period pieces. Only negative comment is the bathroom is tight and dark.

Thank you for taking the time and energy to give us your honest feedback. We have recently added more parking spaces to our lot which has alleviated some of the parking issues that you mentioned. I would like more information on the front desk service and would appreciate if you would contact me directly to discuss so that I can follow up with re-training.

Thank you for being our guest and taking the time to give us feedback! I'm sorry your first visit was during the construction and hope you can come back when we are all done (targeting this fall). Accessibility and guest convenience is the main focus of the work we are doing. We will have a parking level registration office, elevator, accessible restrooms, accessible guest rooms and more. We look forward to getting to welcome you back and show off the final product of all of this hard work.
