Don't expect something extraordinary in this hotel. Fairly cheap hotel for staying few days in Muscat Not much facilities You've got a reception, a Restourant a place for shisha and parking Rooms look old and not really fancy Breakfast not much to offer Rooms are quiet and clean Location is near the Qaboos road and close to the big shopping malls Check what you're planning to do in Muscat and try to book your hotel near the places you're planning to visit. In this street you'll see some more hotels which worth checking them out too

I was at this hotel for a night, it was really clean and silent to rest, room was well finished and everything were available and brand new such as fridge, closet, air conditioner... bath room was really clean.

Dirty room (thick layer of dust on the furniture, etc.). Disastrous bathroom: smelly because of clogged shower drains, floor constantly flooded, no access to hot water. Incompetent management. This place is no more than a well-located 1-star hotel.

Its was a planned short overnight stay. The hotel is located in prime location of the city. GPS won't hassle you much, as it is easily accessible. Room was quite spacious, but foul smell from the carpets inside the room will sting your nose for ever. You don't get the feel of cleanliness inside the room, because I doubt rooms left out from cleaning for months. All together, way below par for a 4 star hotel.

I stayed in this hotel in july 2016. I was solo traveller. My intention of the visit to go scuba diving. There are good and bad things in this hotel. Goods: Clean, nice staff, good location to main attractions, near restaurants. Bads: Don't recommend for families, there are many single travelrs there. Far from main scuba diving centers ( extra and euro dive centers). Taxis take advantage of tourists. They are extremely expensive. For the price u pay for this hotel, you can stay in a better hotel. For family don't recommend.

I have been in this hotel for 3 nights. It is was good. I had only one point. The breakfast is worthless. it is very poor breakfast with no many items. I ate fried egg for the three days because I couldn't find much good options.

The shower drain was clogged, flooding the bathroom. Breakfast consisted of stale bread with a toaster that didn't work. The rolls and croissants were unedible. Minimal choice of cooked foods. Also stale and chewy Only one type of tea served. Uht milk

The Hotel itself is located in the city center of Muscat and it's easy accessible. If you get a room to the mountains you can enjoy the panorama over the city and the mountains behind. MGM is very close, almost walking distance. The breakfast of the hotel is big, offers all – from European sweets, over Indian dishes, to local Arabic food and omelets too. Quality is good and part of the buffet changes. Especially the Arabic dish could change bit more, maybe they could put babaganoush or hummus on day and not always labneh. The rooms are cozy and big and have all you need and you expect from a four star hotel. Nevertheless I have to mention that the first room we had was smelling bad in the restroom. After claiming it we could change the room within one hour without even asking for a change but we just claimed the smell. The second room was ok smell wise – but I feel the issue is that as soon as you put on the fan of the restroom it starts smelling – seems they have an issue with the fan system. Apart from that room was clean, fridge is there too. The wardrobe could have more space to lay things down. Stuff is mostly friendly. I only give four points coz for the 5th point they would have be more proactive will chek-in – like hand out a map, they should change the breakfast a bit more, they have to fix the fan issue and give a better wardrobe. But compared to other hotels in Muscat and their prices you definitely get the best value for money here. I’ll come again in case I go to Muscat.

Arrived late to the hotel and stayed only 1 night. Can't say anything about the location but liked the bed and the pillow. Room was clean and decor was nice. Staff was friendly. Wifi worked well. Breakfast buffet was ok.

Waves is really in the heart of Muscat. Pros:- - Quick check in and check out. - American Break fast - Neat and clean - Malls and shopping centres in 10 min walk Cons:- - No Bar or pub - No pool. - Rooms are small Recommend for few days stay
