After checking in, they had my parents stay in tower one, which was mentioned to have AirConditioning. After arriving on our floor, the hallway was already hot as an oven. The room was the same. Turned the AC on and waited for hours to cool down. Didn’t work. Plus TV was broken as well. We went down and complaint about the AC. Then they said the AC for the whole tower was broken!! What!? They just said it had AC. So we asked for a room with AC and pointed us to this “newer” tower. It was working and decided to take it. But guess what… for extra cost of course…Watch out for their “upgrade” trick.

Bland experience

Reception in the evening is very slow - felt short of staff. At the bar I have asked for a camomile tea they tried to charge me extra (you expect a tea to be complimentary especially as I had to wait 1 hr to get my room as the whole key system was down when I arrived at the evening to check in).

Price of luxury hotel ,amenities of budget hotel

The price we paid was too high for the amenities and facilities being provided ( don't get fooled by what shown in online portal). There was no hot water facilities in washroom considering its winter season. Even basic amenities like toiletries were missing and bedsheet wasn't change when we arrive as it was smelling bad.

Unsafe, construction, overcharged

The lights in the hallway didn't work and they didn't fix them I was alone in the hallway every night using my phone to guide me. They overcharged my husband 3 time's my initial booking cost. He didn't know but it was too late. Considering I had spent 3 nights there already it really soured the stay for me. A male housekeeper entered my room while I was sleeping, despite the notice on the door and me yelling no. He still forced the lock as I had the safety lock on. Receiption simply apologized. And then continued to charge me for a coffee to settle my nerves and overcharge

Spent 3 nights here on a business trip. Reported no light in hallway of my room. I had to use my phone to see and open room door. They never fixed it. Average breakfast way overpriced @20.00. Nice café across the street better food and price's. In general dreadful

Pretty good rooms with convenient shopping center next door with a Rewe and other food options inside. Nice bakery across the road and good connectivity to U-Bahn/ via bus or tram.The lifts/elevators are weird and do not go directly from underground parking to the hotel rooms.

Wonderful staff

Firstly, the staff at this hotel are wonderful. On check-in to my cosy double room I wasn’t particularly comfortable or happy, there was very limited lighting and the room was old and tired. Some spot lights were not working & when I reported this to reception they offered me an alternative room, but this was still not any better. The receptionist was incredibly helpful and I decided to upgrade to a comfortable room, which was much brighter and cleaner. The bathrooms in all rooms are clean, modern and spacious. On reflection, for the original price + upgrade cost I could have stayed at a better quality hotel in the area. One evening I decided to dine in the restaurant but the menu seemed very expensive. The barman noticed me leaving and offered me a much more reasonable bar snack menu, so I stayed and had flammkuchen. Sadly, I’m 90% sure it was frozen and I expected better for my €12, but it saved me going out in awful wet weather. The hotel kindly looked after my luggage on check out which I’m very grateful for. There is a super bakery just over the road for breakfast, and a little shopping centre next door to the hotel with DM and Rewe. Hasia is an excellent Asian restaurant just around the corner. The hotel has good transport links within a 10 minute walk.

Almost perfect.

The hotel is very nice and clean. The only downside is the internet connection was not very stable at my room and there was no locker in my room. Other than that everything is perfect. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

It was quite a clean hotel and staff were quite friendly. We had asked for an extra bed but as they not have extra bed they gave us the next room for using and the responsible man came to the door for giving the key of the next room and apologized for not having extra bed .

Poor quality Hotel - poor maintenance of rooms

Water leak in the shower - water leak in the entrance way - some lights not working - no safe in the room - poor TV selection - no reception of BBC channel - forced to watch US news channels. Breakfast was not included in the rate when it was indicated it was included. I will never stay in this hotel again.
