Broken down elevator and 3rd floor room means having to bring all luggage up multiple flights of steps. Reception said they have no idea when it would be fixed. Check in slow and inefficient. No way to control room temperature as this is all done centrally. In room safe too small to put even smallest size computer and area is not the greatest so you want to use a safe. Combination body wash and shampoo is another basic and if you care about hair conditioner bring your own. About as basic, low value as you'll find
Radisson normally keeps a high standard on their hotels, however this one is an exception for the worse. Got a room on the 5th floor and the elevator was broken for 3/4 of the days I was here. Breakfast was simple, with powdered eggs and unsalted bacon as the only hot offering. Juice from bottles. Coffee machine was broken one day too. Rooms are old styled and bear the sign of times. No cutlery in the room, and water had very little pressure in the shower. Also, shower temperature swung from freezing to scolding without touching the faucet. Avoid this hotel if you expect "Radisson quality". It doesn't exist here.
Very basic hotel, and expensive for the quality. The breakfast service and quality of the food was surprisingly great, with asian, western and eggs options and great coffee machine. The lady's that work in the breakfast were great.
This hotwl does not have the fresh modern look of Park Inns I have stayed in previously. Ok, not bad, but typically old building being modernized, but not to the standard of Park Inn I am used to, the rooms are not dissapouning, but I have awaitwd somewhat more 2017 style, this looks like a typical German hotel from way back. Again, not bad, but I feel it lacks being a part of the Radisson. Around the hotwl area, ylu will find plenty of car dealers, no place to eat, but the metro is close to the hotel, to take you downtown, 5 stops.
On arrival we thought this place looked a little on the seedy but after going in it was great good rooms fair size with a local Aldi near by very good breakfast happy all round ! The area has some small shops and take away it's just a short hop to the beautiful centre we love Munich well worth a short visit we will return
We had a night at this hotel and found it to be very convenient..... a very short walk to the underground. the room was well appointed and had an iron and ironing board to press clothes that had become crumpled from travelling. the breakfast was good with a variety of pastries preserves etc and freshly made scrambled eggs. we enjoyed overnighting there
I stayed here for one night and although the hotel is well situated for the business meetings I had, the service level is poor. Although I had a booking number, they cared little about that and said they can only retrieve my booking if I give the full name. Rooms are small but tidy. Unfortunately, mine overlooked the Frankfurter ring which is rather noisy. Beware that if you arrive with heavy luggage or with a stroller, you will have to climb steps to get to the reception. The breakfast is basic but ok and if you leave early you can get a take-away coffee from the machine they have. They could not issue an invoice to the company name though as their system apparently can only handle guest names...
Nice hotel with good facilities and friendly staff. Easy to get from main train station to hotel, which is just a 2 min walk from Frankfurter Ring station. Great family room and we all enjoyed the breakfast.
Next to U2 bahn and across from Aldi. A little walk to Lidl & dm. Breakfast is included with the room starting 6:30 weekday & 7:00 for weekend. If you want to go to Marienplatz, switch to U3 @ Scheidplatz.
We booked this hotel through Club Carlson app. This was done long time in advance, as this was part of a longer Europe trip. Upon arriving, we checked in and the by chance saw a notice on the wall, that the next day the water would be out from 9-16. When we asked, this was confirmed. In my opinion this is a rather serious problem, with no way to use bathroom, take a shower etc. We understand that sometimes such things happen, but why not notify the guests? We were told that this was not possible, but hey - all the data including mail and cell phone is in the system. Afterwards, we were told that we had booked our kids as children and not adults. Apparently this hotel has other age limits as other Radisson and Park inn, as we stayed with the kids - booked as children - in both Hamburg and Prague. Not very helpful staff on duty. Next day we talked to the manager, and she excused everything and gave us the first night for free, no extra charge for kids. She also told us that they could not send mail to customers, which I find strange - all the info is in the system. OK, but.. Location is good. 2 min. walk to the excellent subway system. No need to drive. You are in downtown in 5 minutes. Breakfast was very good. WiFi working very well. Beds good, but pillows - not good. Felt like poorly inflated balloons. Parking in garage. A little tight but OK. No noise to be heard in room, despite the heavy traffic in the street. In sum quite good. Plus for taking care of problems when they arise, but we suggest looking into ways on notifying customers about problems.
