On arrival we thought this place looked a little on the seedy but after going in it was great good rooms fair size with a local Aldi near by very good breakfast happy all round ! The area has some small shops and take away it's just a short hop to the beautiful centre we love Munich well worth a short visit we will return
We had a night at this hotel and found it to be very convenient..... a very short walk to the underground. the room was well appointed and had an iron and ironing board to press clothes that had become crumpled from travelling. the breakfast was good with a variety of pastries preserves etc and freshly made scrambled eggs. we enjoyed overnighting there
I stayed here for one night and although the hotel is well situated for the business meetings I had, the service level is poor. Although I had a booking number, they cared little about that and said they can only retrieve my booking if I give the full name. Rooms are small but tidy. Unfortunately, mine overlooked the Frankfurter ring which is rather noisy. Beware that if you arrive with heavy luggage or with a stroller, you will have to climb steps to get to the reception. The breakfast is basic but ok and if you leave early you can get a take-away coffee from the machine they have. They could not issue an invoice to the company name though as their system apparently can only handle guest names...
Nice hotel with good facilities and friendly staff. Easy to get from main train station to hotel, which is just a 2 min walk from Frankfurter Ring station. Great family room and we all enjoyed the breakfast.
Next to U2 bahn and across from Aldi. A little walk to Lidl & dm. Breakfast is included with the room starting 6:30 weekday & 7:00 for weekend. If you want to go to Marienplatz, switch to U3 @ Scheidplatz.
We booked this hotel through Club Carlson app. This was done long time in advance, as this was part of a longer Europe trip. Upon arriving, we checked in and the by chance saw a notice on the wall, that the next day the water would be out from 9-16. When we asked, this was confirmed. In my opinion this is a rather serious problem, with no way to use bathroom, take a shower etc. We understand that sometimes such things happen, but why not notify the guests? We were told that this was not possible, but hey - all the data including mail and cell phone is in the system. Afterwards, we were told that we had booked our kids as children and not adults. Apparently this hotel has other age limits as other Radisson and Park inn, as we stayed with the kids - booked as children - in both Hamburg and Prague. Not very helpful staff on duty. Next day we talked to the manager, and she excused everything and gave us the first night for free, no extra charge for kids. She also told us that they could not send mail to customers, which I find strange - all the info is in the system. OK, but.. Location is good. 2 min. walk to the excellent subway system. No need to drive. You are in downtown in 5 minutes. Breakfast was very good. WiFi working very well. Beds good, but pillows - not good. Felt like poorly inflated balloons. Parking in garage. A little tight but OK. No noise to be heard in room, despite the heavy traffic in the street. In sum quite good. Plus for taking care of problems when they arise, but we suggest looking into ways on notifying customers about problems.
We stayed at Park Inn Frankfurter Ring for our one night trip to Munich. Location is good, you can get to city center by U-Bahn in approximately 10 minutes, which was OK for us. Hotel is good by Park Inn standards - obviously don't expect any luxury, but all the basics are done right. We've received quite large room at top floor, which I liked and appreciated. However, overall value for money isn't really great. This was indeed a last minute booking but 110 euros for Park Inn just doesn't feel right (I've payed the same for Radisson Blu in Copenhagen, one of the most expensive cities in Europe...). Also, hotel elevator is absurdly slow. I could live with that for one night, but it would probably become more annoying for a longer stay.
I got the smallest room ever I had in all the years visiting this hotel even no chance to sit at the writing desk. Room to street side (even mentioned in reservation), extremly noisy, lame excuse and no efort from staff to change.
The room was perfectly adequate with a good bed, good shower room as well as air conditioning. Unfortunately, the air conditioning outlet faced the bed so could be a nuisance after awhile. But considering its excellent location (within minutes of the U-bahn into the centre) and good breakfast included in our price, I would certainly recommend this hotel.
The room is clean and well equipped. They had everything available including iron, cooktop, refrigerator, makeup mirror, hair dryer and soap/shampoo dispenser. The location is close to the Olympic Park and BMW Museum. The breakfast was great! They had lots of breakfast items to choose from and also a cappuccino dispenser.
