The hotel a little bit difficult to find, otherwise It's lovely & clean. Staff curteous & helpful. Plenty of food vendors @ the Hauffbanhoff with reasonable prices. Will highly recommend!!

Nice hotel in central location. Nice and modern rooms. Kind and welcoming staff. However, the neighborhood is not so good and loud.

A short walk to the station and surrounded by great shopping and restaurants. The train system is easy to navigate!!!

the room was good and the best thing I had from that trip was the location of the hotel. It was near by almost everything

It's located on the right of the Munich Hbf. Very convenient. Unless with a 20% top-up, no early check-in is required even if there's room available. Staff are okay but could be more attentive to customers' needs. Big neat room but the toilet needs to be renovated.

Rooms are quite small, there was no internet in the hotel what made it very hard to use for business travel...

The Internet was intermittent at best, impossible for serious work. There was no heat, just a noisy space heater. The room was quiet The shower was great They double charged me for the Internet... Breakfast is good Staff is good, location is excellent.

i was very much disappointed, not even close to a four star hotel. No amenities, no gym, no pool, no exterior landscape. It is like an office building converted into a hotel. Staff is not flexible, breakfast is additional 16 Euro/person, and internet 5 Euro/ 3 hours on top of $220 a night.

This is not a four star hotel. Well, maybe three stars in Germany, where hotels are in general poor. No room service available, no air conditioning, no free internet (which you have to pay 5 euros to use in the lobby!), and a stinky room... In general not a good experience after a long flight from the US, and certainly not worth upwards of $250 a night.

We had the pleasure of arriving in Munich at the start of Oktoberfest, which meant that the hotels rates were higher than normal. The hotel certainly offers the standard amenities; the room was clean and well appointed, but extremely small, even by European standards. Just walking in the room with two medium sized suitcases was difficult, and the bathroom was tiny. The location of the hotel is the least desirable aspect of this hotel. While it is convenient to the Hauptbahnhof and the U-Bahn, getting there from the hotel made us feel extremely uncomfortable. In addition the proximity across the street to a hostel meant that there was a significant amount of noise throughout the night, as well as party revelers in the adjacent apartment buildings. For my next visit to Munich I will choose a different hotel.

This place was beautiful and we really enjoyed staying here. It's real pretty and the bathroom was incredible. Location was so great by the train station. Highly recommend it and would stay here again.

Highly recommend this place. Lovely, close to train staion and walking distance to everything . Nice and freindly. service, very happy with the room.

This hotel is very convenient to the railroad station. It's clean and has two tv news stations in English. There is a fee to use the wifi, but it is very fast. I would have rated the hotel very high except that our room was across the street from a youth hostel and bar. There was loud noise and light till 3 am.

We used this hotel as a hub to get out to Fussen and the Neuschwanstein Castle, to Dachau, and to Marienplatz which was within walking distance. Handy to the hauptbahnhof and nearby restaurants. The room, although efficient, was teenie, tiny.

Hotel location great for those arriving by train or plane since it is less than a block from the main train station. The S Bahn and U Bahn can take you any where you don't want to walk to. The staff was very helpful with all our question and the rooms were great with very nice baths. Downside is that the neighborhood is iffy for families. Street noise level high and lasted until 2 AM but it was Friday night during Fashing. Just a reminder, breakfast is 15 euros, Internet is 9 euros. There is no airport shuttle as advertised. But still think it was a good deal for Munich.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast although it was an extra. Great location 1/2 block from the main train station. I shop value for price and tend to be a bit frugal. I got a great deal on a good hotel. When traveling the bed and bath tend to be the big variables. Excellent modern, large marble shower/bathroom and comfortable beds.

We visited during Christmas week and enjoyed the Christmas Villages throughout the city. The best was in the Center closest to us. Just a few blocks away. This area would be great off season too.Shopping, people watching, food... If you are travelling by train, the loacation of the hotel is great. Exit the station, cross the street and it is within a block. Get directions to it first. Let's just say, we took the long way. Very easy, once we found it. The rooms are a little small, but adequate for a couple. Rooms overlook the side street and have a small deck, (if you can manage the window access, it is a nice place to sit and finish the day). The shower was excellent. Staff was efficient. When asked questions, they were good at answering. Don't expect them to actively, go out of there way for you. Very nice though. Good value for Munich, indeed.

Very small room and bathroom. A large person WOULD NOT be happy here. Tried to double bill me for breakfast. Watch your room charges and if possible pay cash as you go and KEEP your receipts.

Before the conference rate hit in the second part of my stay, the hotel was a great location and deal for the price.

close to transit and walking distance to octoberfest
