The hotel is in a good area, 15-20 minute walk to marrianplatz. Hotel itself it clean but very basic. We visited in December with lows of -4 but it was sweltering in the room we did turn off the thermostat & open windows but noise was loud outside just next door is some kind of bar. The staff vary from pleasant to quite stern. The breakfast was a dissapointed they only serve hot eggs boiled scrambled or fried. Then breads meat cheeses & cereals. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. We spent all our time outside enjoying a very nice tour of Germany. I would definitely go back to Munich but I would not stay again at hotel Preysing.

Liked: - clean room, enough space - sound proof room Didn't like: - poor breakfast menu - very slow internet connection through wifi Overall, won't say it was bad, but will try to find another one for the next time.

It's not that there's anything really wrong with Hotel Preysing; the rooms are clean and indeed the bathroom was large by European standards. It's just that it is not a welcoming hotel. It's all hard surfaces - the hallways are floored in tile; there's only one pillow on the bed and the reception staff range from grumpy to rude. In addition the hotel is located beside a major thoroughfare - alright that makes it easy to go to the city centre by tram - but its also an uphill thoroughfare and traffic delights in gunning its engines and the hotel soundproofing isn't as good as they think it is. The area itself is quite nice with one or two decent close-by restaurants - and there are other hotels in the neighbourhood.

Good standard hotel. It was clean, staff was friendly and it was in a good location. Our room did smell like cigarette smoke though, I think it was coming from the sidewalk outside. Otherwise this is a decent hotel.

While the hotel is advertised as having AC, it's not if your trip is before the first of June. I was extremely disappointed to find out that they do not turn in the AC until after June 1st. At first they tried to tell me that it was broken it wasn't until I started asking about a refund because I may need to change hotels that they said it was their policy not to turn it on until after June 1st. I understand that it's not typically hot in May; however it's misleading to say that you have something when you just don't. Despite being in the 70s outside the room gets quite hot. We did get a fan but add two girls and a hair dryer and it's just quite unpleasant. Nothing like waking up sweating while on vacation. Other than that the hotel was good enough. I just felt deceived because they advertised something they chose not to provide. Had I known there would be no AC I would have stayed elsewhere.

The hotel is in a good location for easy access to airport, city centre and Messe. Walking distance to the S-bahn. The hotel is clean and served my purpose, but I was a bit disappointed there was no hotel bar or gym. But there are plenty of bars and restaurants close by so not really an issue. The breakfast is quite basic and I didn't see or hear of any hot options being available. The pillow comfort is poor and only one in the room. It is too big and goes flat, so you need to fold it over to get any sort of comfort. Overall it was a pleasant enough stay.

Good location, good price, good breakfast, clean rooms and nice staff. You can walk to see all city center attractions. 3 min walk to S bahn to go to airport. We stayed one night for 110 USD and we were happy about the value we got for the price.

The Location was very convenient As it was Close to my Event Location and well Connected to Public Transport. The Staff was Friendly. The Room spotless clear. Breakfast was okay, But Could be Improved with some hot Food. I think there Are better options around in munich.

Very good position. Close to the downtown. Tram station - 30 m. Metro and S-bahn station - 5 min walk. Friendly staff - reception, restaurant. Clean rooms. Breakfast offer with the various meals. Quiet rooms. Internet in rooms - free of charge.

Hotel is very clean and confortable located in quiet part of town with a tram stop almost right outside the front door which takes you upto the centre of town within 10 mins. The pillows were an issue for me but having asked at reception for some "normal" ones and told that i couldnt get any 2 promptly arrived at our door after around half hour this meant a much better sleep. Breakfast is 100% continental consisting of tea/cofffee fresh bread cereal cheese and meats. Eggs can also be requested. Would highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay for your short stay in a fantastic city.
