The location is walkable to most of the old city center in a safe neighborhood. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags until our room was ready. Desk staff gave great advice on restaurants and modes of transport to the airport. The room was spacious and clean. The only problem is the one step drop in our hallway that blends in due to the carpet pattern. They have a similar condition in the lobby with a strip of light on it. They need at least contrasting tape to show this one.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Blauer Bock. It was really convenient to walk everywhere, shopping, restaurants, the outdoor market, and sights. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend this hotel. We were there in the fall and were very comfortable and happy.

Room was small but very clean. Bed was comfortable. Hotel is in a nice quiet area with easy access to public transportation. Plenty of food options nearby. Very nice hotel. Breakfast was very good. Everything in the city was easy to get to. Only problem was that there was no way to control the temperature in the room other than to open windows.
