This is a "theme" property--like a mountain villa. Many little touches like video clips in the elevator and the staff wear alpine outfits. But it is not overdone--the entire hotel is very thoughtfully designed. I was in a single room--it was a little smaller than some hotels, but plenty for one person. Everything is new and clean; the staff are terrific; the breakfast was really good (the food and the eating space); also it is about 1 minute walk from the main train station. I think it is the perfect place to stay in Munich.

The hotel staff was excellent in every way! The ladies at the front desk were more than helpful with everything from food recommendations to where to do laundry! Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Convenient location, reasonable price, clean room, and friendly staff.

Simple, but clean and very comfortable! The staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was an extra charge, so that was a bummer, but overall it was our favorite hotel on our Europe trip!

Nice and clean hotel. Walking distance to the train station and Marienplatz.

Fantastic hotel...small rooms but smartly appointed. Clean and comfy. Great air conditioning and showers. Lovely courtyard garden. Delicious breakfast as well. Short walk to main train terminal. Would stay again.

Room was not clean when we checked in. Room was very small. Bed smelt of body odor. When I advised of the stench to the staff, I got no compensation in return or any room change which is poor management. Air-conditioning could not get this tiny room cool. Neighborhood was not great. I checked out of the hotel early even though my reservation was for 4 more days. That's how awful this place was.

I just needed a bed for the night coming in from U.S. and catching an early train in the morning. The room was clean and modern although a bit small. If I'd been staying longer, I would not ha e stayed here.

From the photos this looked like an amazing hotel we couldn't pass up. However, when we arrived the room had almost no decor or ski lodge feel. The bed was hard as a rock and only included one small pillow and tiny comforter square. The 'mini sofa' was about a foot wide and more of a cranny. No face towels in the bathroom. No phone in the room (to phone the front desk). All around it had great potential, but the room lacked any and all comfort.

Stayed at this hotel about a week after it opened and it was very clean (though I suppose that's expected since it's brand new), comfortable, and a great location - perfect for Oktoberfest which is only a 10 min walk away. The main train station is also nearby. The rooms were not soundproof as advertised but it wasn't very loud. Overall, I was very pleased with the hotel. I hope the hotel continues to maintain its current level of cleanliness.

This is a fun, brand new hotel that is just a short walk from the central train station, and all that Munich has to offer. The rooms and lobby have a fun Austrian alpine decor, and the building is very quiet. The staff is very friendly, we had a very late arrival and communicated with them via email. They accommodated our itinerary change with no fuss at all. The breakfast option for 10 Euro per day is well worth it, good selection and fresh food!
