The concierge staff was very nice: speedy check in, kindly escorted to the room, very professional and friendly. The room size is a bit small, but the bed and bathroom are spacious. Very clean and nice in every aspect.
Great bathroom stuff, beautifully decorated stylish room, i Just fest happy when inentered. I stayed on the 5th floor. super quit, good sleep, comfortalbe, smal hotel. Good location. Good, fast elevator Nice Staffordshire, calm, politie but Fast and personal touch.
I admit I was a little worried about staying here because there were three of us, and the room we booked was only two beds. But they set up a third bed for us and it was so comfortable. The room was clean and the front desk staff was very kind and helpful. I really loved the location. We walked from the S-Bahn station to the hotel with no problem. We walked everywhere in Munich from here, but because it was also so close to the S-Bahn we could take that to the BMW museum and further sights. I do recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.
Good, small hotel in the very hart of Munich. Very conveniently located on just a few minutes walk to Marienplatz, Hofbräuhaus, famous Beer Hall and train station. Also on a walking distance from main shopping street. Rooms are of different size, but comfortable. Breakfast is good, with relativley big choice of meals.
This is my 5th or 6th visit to Munich ..... I always start by the location (near Marienplatz) when selecting a hotel .... This one fits the bill: reasonably priced, centrally located , modern, clean and comfortable. Rooms are small and a tiny bathroom, but it is OK. They also have AC ... + they have free wifi but rather slow. I would say an upscale *** .... Not a 4* It is on a small quiet street a few minutes away from the pedestrian area with loads of shopping, restaurants and cafés. If you have a car, you are less than 10 minutes walk to several large parking lots. The area is very safe at night. In 15 minutes , you can reach the English Garden on foot .... Definitely a must.
Stayed here on a business trip not in the main hotel where the reception is but across the street. Lovely room with comfy bed, helpful staff and good location 10 mins from Marienplatz. Quiet and safe area for a single traveller would stay again.
What an incredible place to stay. This hotel is right on the edge of the tourist action hot spots including being just a block from the Hoffbrau Bier Halle - so you can easily crawl home : ) The room was amazing, very large, the bed was fantastic, and the place is extremely clean. But what really makes this hotel is the staff. Most are fluent in all major languages so communication is very easy. They had amazing restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. Never once did we feel like they were sending us to a place they were being paid to send us too. And they had great suggestions on what to see and do in the city and countryside. The room was cleaned perfectly everyday, and the crew was so so friendly. There is an Italian restaurant in the hotel for lunch and dinner that is amazing and not that expensive. It is a nice break from the meat based menus of the local restaurants. It is amazing how after 3 days you will crave pasta and salad instead of German food and this place is perfect!! They also have a beautiful breakfast steup with lots of choices you can buy in the morning for $20 euro. I would highly recommend this hotel
I stayed at this hotel during a solo trip. The hotel is tucked away on small street directly behind Maximilianstraße, which is home to luxurious shops such as Louis Vuitton, Hermes, and Chanel. I stayed in the standard single room, which was the perfect amount of space. The hotel staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The only con was the wifi, which was a bit slow.
My group was mostly pretty happy about the three nights we spent at this hotel. We were especially happy with the outstanding location near to the Marienplatz and all that is within walking distance. Most of the photos shown on this website are of the suites so set your expectations accordingly. Single bed rooms are very small. I chose a standard double room, as did a couple of my friends, and we found the rooms adequate and comfortable. There was a minibar in each room. I had a shower and a bathtub, the bathroom was large enough and well equipped. The breakfast room is attractive and the buffet is good. The breakfast service was spotty. With two people serving the room and only about five patrons, I still had to ask for coffee after waiting for ten minutes to be recognized. The street can be noisy as there is a bar nearby and it can be loud sometimes. The A/C worked very well and shut out the noise for me. Some of my friends complained about the sound of delivery and street-cleaning trucks in the early morning, I did not hear anything. If you are concernecd about noise ask for a room that does not face the street. The reception was very friendly and helped us with everything. Their restaurant recommendations were all excellent! The only real problems we had were that one room did not have hot water and they only got around to fixing it on the last day. Also the internet connection is awful because it is complicated to get on repeated times; the service shuts you out every time you leave the hotel and we had problems getting back on again. But all in all, I would recommend this hotel for the location, rooms, breakfast, and price we paid.
And that is beautiful, simple, familiar, heartful. Great family-own Hotel, small rooms, nice small junior suites, not luxury but very nice, there is a restaurant, good breakfast buffet, very friendly and nice service. We are guest since almost 30 years and we keep coming back, there will be a reason!
