Great location just 3 stops on the subway to the city center. Don't let that put you off. Getting the train is very easy for non German speaking people. The hotel is in a very nice part of town across the street from the location where the Munich October festival is held. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great little bar. Room spotless.

The rooms are very nice and just what is needed. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are spacious. No coffee makers in the room, no mini fridge to do your own shopping for breakfast. Overall wonderful stay and would stay again! The breakfast available for add on is quite delicious and definitely worth the 12 euro.

6/10 Okay

Liked: Staff & service

We paid over €3,000 for a 5-night stay during Oktoberfest, and it was wildly overpriced for the services received. While the location is a perfect 10/10—directly across the street from the festival grounds and close to the train station—the hotel has absolutely nothing else to offer. Aside from the breakfast area, there are zero spaces to lounge or relax. The breakfast area itself is highly uncomfortable, featuring old, run-down bar tops. Speaking of breakfast, it was a massive disappointment. For 3 out of our 5 days, there was barely any fruit selection, and they only offered basic pastries, meats, cereal, yogurt, and juice. One morning we ordered an omelet, which cost extra, only to be served something that looked and tasted more like a frittata. The service was equally subpar. We requested room service once, but when we returned, we found they had only switched out the towels. Nothing else was touched—the water wasn’t replenished, the bed wasn't made, and the room wasn't cleaned. We felt so uncomfortable with their standard of housekeeping that we just kept the "Do Not Disturb" sign up for the rest of the trip. Furthermore, the staff is completely consumed by the after-parties they throw every night, prioritizing party-goers over paying hotel customers. During these parties, they actually shut the elevators down. We had to fight our way through crowds of drunk people outside the hotel and in the lobby just to walk up four flights of stairs to our room.

The staff here are wonderful. Very helpful with local information and very responsive to requests or even suggestions. The Hotel has an old world charm and is one stop from the main train station (easy walk if you prefer) and a couple of stops from the centre of the old town. The room was comfortable and generous in comparison to most modern hotel rooms.
