Very good hotel for the Oktoberfest. Would stay here again!

We booked our room but when we reached on 10:00pm, the front desk told us no room available, but already arranged, so they called a free taxi to send us to another new hotel with same grade, I think it is fair enough but just not so good for our travel in the following day. Whatever, the 2nd day we change to the booked hotel, they send us free minibar, that is fine. All the services n room are okay, but just change the hotel makes a little inconvenience for our tourism as we have a very big luggage. Finally, I got the info that reaching night there was a football match, many guys were staying in the lobby bar there loudly.

This is beautiful little hotel with really good service. Maria at the reception desk was so accommodating and friendly as we're all the front desk staff. Valentina in the restaurant made breakfast a delight for us. Relaxing,,modern room and bath!

The street side is noisy. We booked a Privilege Room overlooking the courtyard, but instead, received a room overlooking the loud street. The staff is unfriendly. The only time they told us good morning was when we left. A family member passed away while we were there and the hotel never gave us the message. The floor in the bathroom was filthy one of the days we were there. The sheets didn't feel clean and the towels need to be replaced. The location, however, was great. We came for Oktoberfest so it was close to the City Center and to the Oktoberfest area. If we return in the future, I will book another hotel in the same area. The mini-bar was free. They provide you with 2 waters, a coke, a sprite, 2 beers, 1 bottle of sparkling wine, and an orange juice. We received pretzels one of the 5 nights we were there, but no other snacks were provided. We paid over $500/night for the room so I have much higher expectations, especially of the staff, for that price. Overall, I was disappointed with this hotel. It also needs to be rennovated. If you do choose this hotel, make sure you bring earplugs so you can get some sleep.

overnight stay in Munich after traveling in southern Bavaria before catching an early morning flight out. 5 min work from S-bahn to the airport. Comfy room with free minibar. quick in-and-out. good rate and a very convenient location.

The Mecure City Center in Munich is located very close to main train station and to the old town. The street it is one is pretty sketchy though. You have to walk past 3 youth hostels and an international call/money center to get to the Mercure. The rooms are very good sized. The bed is a King-sized, and the room has a chaise, extra table, and desk with chair as well. The downsides are: - The A/C only has an auto setting, so if you like the fan running to keep the air fresh you are out of luck. - There is a fair amount of noise from the halls and rooms around you , as well as the street outside. It's not too bad, but it's definitely noticable.

This hotel is on a street with three hostels. The lobby is nice. The room was decent but small. The carpet in the hallways needed to be replaced and the decore left something to be desired. It does have a nice location right across the street from the train station and only a few walking minutes to the Munich old town. If you are particular about where you stay I wouldn't stay here but if you just need a decent place to sleep that doesn't have bugs, it would be ideal for you.

We made use of the train services so the location near the main train station (Munich Hauptbahnhof) was a real advantage. The staff were helpful, the room fine, but the lack of free wi-fi in such hotels continues to amaze me. The three rating reflects the fact that this hotel simply met expectations, not bad but not great.

Unbeatable location. Great breakfast and friendly staff.

Nice sized room, likely because we got an uprgade. Not an upmarket location, but conveniently located across the street from the Munich Main Train station. Mariane Platz and Viktualien Platz was also within walking distance. YOu can also easily et arouind on a Tram, with the closes tram stop mins away.

Great location for Oktoberfest, but price was very high due to the event. Very accommodating, as we got a smoking room and asked for a non-smoking room. Front desk took care of us quickly to move us into another room. Comfortable beds, clean.

I loved hotel. all aspects of it and will defiantly stay there again.
