We visited 2 days Mumbai and we stayed in this wonderful boutique hotel. Very clean, staff is very kind and the room was fantastic. On ground floor they have a small terasa and opposite a very nice restaurant and bar. The entire place made our stay in Mumbai more pleasant. Calin
Currently in room 205 now and it’s a few minutes past midnight. Sleep has been impossible because of the loud bass-heavy club music from a party below. I find it absurd that a hotel with a nightclub as a sidewalk claims it nurtures Art, Aesthetics and Mind Space. Manager Vikram Vaswani, who met me this morning during breakfast and wished me a pleasant stay while offering me his business card—- did not pick up my calls. Don’t book in this hotel if you care about your sleep. This hotel will be great for you if you’re a young reveling traveller in India looking for an expensive place to park a backpack.
The hotel can arrange pick up and drop off at the airport and that was very helpful. Walking distance to the beach area and auto rickshaw ride away from Juho beach. The area around the hotel is interesting and walking around is easy going. Our bedroom room and bathroom were both spacious. Each evening we were provided in our room with a lovely tray of snacks and dips. On-site body massage is available and that was excellent in smart and clean surroundings. Breakfasts were outstanding. Lots of very obliging and courteous staff. Special mention to Raju and Santosh in the restaurant. Muddassar at reception was very helpful. We received a very nice print of an artwork from our room at check out. A very nice touch indeed. Felt very comfortable staying there and would definitely return.
We had a great three day stay at le sutra in a really nice neighbourhood in Mumbai. Staff was very helpful, breakfast good and the spa massage very skilled and great. rooms have character, are clean and quiet.
Pleasureable and a beautiful stay at this artistically amazing hotel.. thanks for joyous service.! Out the blue is one of my favorite palaces to be on a eve with my loved one.. Will recommend for friendly experience!
I am a regular visitor to this hotel for the last 3 to 4 years. I would not be coming back again and again if I did not appreciate the ambience, the courteous staff etc. However I must point out a couple of areas of improvement 1. They have recently started a TV policy which, to put it bluntly, stinks? No paid channels are provided in the room but if you want to watch something you call the front desk, they call the operator, a maintenance guy comes and messes around in your room for half an hour and then Voila...the channel is on. Of course you don't need it anymore because the program is over 2. I have also noticed a decline in the quality of food, which at one time used to be very good Finally, it's difficult to contact Denzil, the manager, when you have a complaint. Although he's otherwise around Mark Silgardo 2 nights in room 307
The hotel only has 16 rooms each furnished differently . Great location , good food at the restaurants attached and very helpful staff . What lets it down is poor housekeeping and late night pulsating music from Olive restaurant below.
This is a really beautiful hotel and very close to airport. I arrived without reservation and got my room with good rate in 10 minutes. Special thanks to Ms. Puja from front office for her great hospitality. She is very kind and helpful and always present at the lobby to assist. Breakfast at the citrus restaurant was very good. Each and every staff was helpful and polite. Thank you for my lovely and comfortable stay in Mumbai.
Looking for a pleasant and soothing experience, then Le Sutra it is. How can I forget the images of the rooms I looked at while making a reservation online. I was extremely impressed by the way the rooms were named and by the interiors of-course had a meaning. Didn't give a second thought while making the payment neither bothered to cross verify if the amount paid was worth. Now comes the day when I had to check-in to the hotel. I had booked for a spacious room initially, however I didn't had a good experience with the room type that was offered to me as it is was very tiny and wouldn't have been sufficient for an unexpected guest to accommodate as I was expecting one, had to request them to change the room. After 90min I was offered to move into a different room and then the pleasant journey with "The Le Sutra" for me starts. Fortunately apart from the initial room thing , everything else exceeded my expectations and adds to only the Pros of making a right decision to book this hotel. Pros: 1. The interiors and the furniture would definitely make you gaze at it for a while if you love art. 2. Everything at the property starting from the doors, to the walls, the show pieces at the lobby, the names of the room and the floor respectively, the tiny aquarium, the restaurant downstairs, the setup of the restaurant, the service and the location itself would not let you speak anything negative about it. 3. The location is a plus point where you get access to the posh areas of the city and everything on the finger tip. 4. The courteous staff too are of very big help irrespective of the kind of help you need from them for your stay. 5. The very tiny things like the mini booklets at the entrance which gives all the in and out you would want to know about MUMBAI handy & that serves as a big help for an outsider to the city. Now that makes you love the hotel again. 6. The Spa on the first floor also has great services as they understand what the customer needs, the masseuse are very professional and the treatment is very different from others. 7.The breakfast buffet is very usual what you would expect from a 4 star hotel, however satisfied. 8. The mythological rooms actually represents the name outside the room. Every room has got its own meaning and make you relate to what you see. Last but not the least, you get a very cute gift during your check out. Stay at the hotel to know what's inside the gift.(It's worth having it) Overall an amazing experience to me I would say. Definitely looking to stay in the future with Le Sutra.
Had a lovely evening after I booked the deep tissue massage therapy session at the Spa in Le Sutra. The Spa was of top notch cleanlines, and the masseuse was very professional with her work. The other staff in the lobby were also very kind & hospitable, as expected for a boutique hotel of this caliber. Please reach out to the General Manager (Mr. D'Souza), he is a friendly and fun loving guy - makes people feel welcomed, and ensures they leave with a smile or a hearty laugh :)
