Hello to all readers and to all Staff @ Trip. I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights starting 24th May 2018, during my brief journey to India. This is my review. This is the only hotel where I booked a room directly on the hotel website. The cost was slightly cheaper than what various travel engines advertised. I received an instant confirmation with a reservation number ( credit / debit card required to secure this) with a notice to pay all monies at checkout. The hotel offered a complimentary airport pick up from both airports and I emailed them a wrong arrival time. This was picked up by Dadar Sales team @ Ramee and they got back to me ASAP. Very thoughtful of them. I informed them of my correct arrival time and all was sorted. Only one way transfer is complimentary. I was picked up by a polite hotel cab driver and the journey took 30 mins to reach hotel from domestic airport , during peak traffic. The check in was smooth and I was offered an upgrade to master bedroom ....Room 104. Thanks to reception staff for that. The first thing I noticed inside the hotel was quietness and calm. This hotel is next to a very busy road leading to Dadar rail station( next to hotel) . This is a very busy noisy chaotic area with a high level of noise pollution. Inside the hotel......inside the room......everything was calm. Excellent. My guest room was large and sufficient for me. The bed was good, soft and clean linen. AC worked fantastic......Polar temperature throughout... Mumbai was hot and humid ( 37 to 38 deg celsius + around 55% humidity)......serious discomfort and dehydration if you are out and about. The room had all 5 star amenities. Kettle , locker , cabinet, mini bar and nice medium sized bathroom. The only non-5 star item was a standard def TV. The bathroom was well stocked and the towels were soft / good/clean. Medium sized mirror and a working hair dryer. This hotel is in a suburb in the middle of the city. And it was very convenient for me to travel anywhere I wanted. I used app based taxi services to go from A to B. During my stay ...there were no corporate parties / weddings / functions etc.......so it was very quiet in the night. Perfect for a good sleep. I ate out at few places which I will review later. The complimentary buffet breakfast was standard and just adequate. Not a lot of spread but how much can a person eat at 9 am in the morning ? The hotel staff , reception staff and room service staff, security staff, restaurant staff....everyone .......all were polite ,courteous and professional. I had ordered room service dinner on one of the nights and it was very good. Well prepared spicy goat meat curry with rotis, lentils and salad. Delicious and good. The hotel has a small gym on the top floor and a medium sized pool. I did not use them but the pool was clean and maintained . There was a gym staff member who showed me around. Thanks fella ! The hotel has an in-house restaurant and bar, that is open till late. This hotel is located in such a place.....that whatever you need......provisions, medicines , snacks , ATM , Clinic, transport etc ....everything is 5 mins walk. Over all , I had a fabulous stay. I used to stay at Ramee Juhu, but during previous 2 times ....I could not sleep because of club music banging through the walls. So I chose to stay in Ramee Dadar and I am happy that I made this decision. I am returning to hotel for another stay in December 2018. A big thanks to everyone @ Ramee Dadar. Thumbs Up...!!!!!! Pics attached.
This is a decent and clean hotel. Ok for business trip. Food is fine. Breakfast has limited options and repeat the same things daily. Gym and pool are more of a tick off thing. Staff is courteous so full marks to staff.
I was in guestline hotel for about 1 month. It was located in heart of the city, near to train station and many food points. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.Very good, helpful and cooperative staffs. My stay was realy pleasent there.
Old hotel, located at good location. connectivity to train is very good. lot of food points nearby to get mumbai taste. can be stayed for few days. not advisable for long stay. staff is good, rooms are ok
we were in ramee guestline hotel for 7 nights. the location of the hotel is very good .our room was very nice the cleaning staff were very good the food was very good the chef always smilling & if you want some special food the chef cooks for you .the staff of the hotel were very helpfulrailway station just 2 mins walk from the hotel
Not truly great, if you're accustomed to spacious and peaceful hotels/resorts... but anyway, that's not what you should expect in the heart of the metropolis. Well appointed small rooms and welcoming service do compensate initial inconvenience of entering a compact place. Worth staying, if this helps reduce time on your commute to places you plan to visit.
Rooms comfortable and clean. Hotel security and staff polite and friendly. Food is absolutely lovely Would recommend this hotel if you are in Mumbai Located opposite Dadar train station with easy access to the gateway of India via train for 10 rupees 2nd class or 70 rupees 1st class. What an experience.
Hotel is about 15 minutes walk to Dadar Train station and there is also a huge market and shops. We stayed for four nights and then another five nights after travelling to other parts of India. Rooms are fairly clean, comfortable and spacious. Beds are comfortable. There was always hot water for shower though the bath was a bit difficult to get in and out of. Breakfast is great with a good variety of food. We had dinner in the restaurant most nights and food is very tasty. Staff are very helpful, polite and made our stay a very enjoyable one. The hotel can provide a cab for about £25 a day for 8 hours for sightseeing. Overall we loved our stay and I will definitely stay in this hotel if we visit Mumbai again.
Stayed 2 weeeks and enjoyed each day even though i had 6 teeth implants at Smileagain dentistry that is just 200 metres away..the best dentist.. Showers the best ever, room clean and top mattresses they provide which for a long stay is essential, clean linen and a wonderful breakfast provided each morning and the staff therevwere always helpful.. Frank the duty manager was always attentive and Monica and Robin at front desk and all the porters friendly and smiling..
I stayed in Ramee Guestline in Dec'17 for 2 nights and 3 days. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The Staff was courteous and very helpful. I was staying with my wife and son, and I will definitely recommend this hotel for Family travelers. The Manager just surprised me with a complimentary Airport drop after a long days shopping in Mumbai when we returned back to the Hotel. I was trying to book a Cab in the lobby and the Manager walked upto me and offered a complimentary ride to the Airport! What more can you ask... the entire experience with the staff if much better than any of the 5 star hotels that I have experienced. Just book this place without any hesitation to enjoy your Mumbai trips.
