Friendly staff from security, reception, potters room service staff and management. Well done and thank you to you all for making our stay a memorable one. Special thanks and appreciation to Vidhaya and Ashton who served us at breakfast, thank each of you for you 7 star service. My wife and daughter really felt comfortable by your warm welcome every morning. Blessings to each of you
Room was clean and very modern, we paid for a sea view, but it really wasnt a sea view, you can see the roof of slums out the window, and a very very far sea line. Staffs very friendly and respectable. We were looking forward to partying in the roof top bar, but weeks before we arrived the government stopped them from selling alcohol, that was a bummer. Eating here costs a pretty penny, best to just walk to the phoenix mall for food, or to Kamala mills, We had great service here, its weird that the hotel seems to be in the middle of the slums, we walked a lot out of the hotel, and the difference right out the door is very apparent, Gentrification much!
Not a compliant just a constructive feed back -Rooms need a uplift smelled, the first room (2903) I had a patch of carpet stuck as a repair job and the room smelled of dampness, lower side wood panel was damaged when you enter the bathroom, the 02nd room was better (2103). for a 5 star property suggest you take care of this in detail as it does not reflect the other high service you provide. Location and service excellent and for this I would return on a another day to stay.
My second stay at this excellent hotel. From pick up at the airport, in room efficient check in the service in the hotel and its amenities are exceptional. Large rooms very well fitted out and with every amenity. Superb bathroom. Views over city and Racecourse.
We always stay at the Four Seasons in Mumbai due to its fantastic staff and service, convenient location, and excellent food. This was our first time with our 6 month old baby, and while we were sure of an excellent level of service, the staff really outdid themselves! From very thoughtful gestures like having toys, diapers and baby toiletries ready in the room, to being super helpful with baby related things like getting bottles sterilized, preparing special food for the baby and even attending to the baby so my husband and I could eat our breakfast. There is no other hotel in India, and few anywhere in the world, with such warm and personalized service. We are sure to stay here every time we visit Mumbai!
They are doing the drive so half of the access is shut and getting in and out is chaotic; the pool is shut for maintenance too. Worst of all, like every other rooftop bar in Mumbai at the moment they can serve no alcohol in Aer so that part of the hotel is not being used. The staff as ever are doing a great job but let’s hope the work is completed soon and the license sorted out! V
While the food was good, we found general environment of the hotel and its staff quite cold and very impersonal. We tried it for the first time but won't be staying here again. Breakfast was good but again, most of the staff were not attentive and we had to ask couple of times before someone came to our service.
It has been an amazing experience working with the staff at this property. We had our meeting group there for 3 nights in early Oct. We could not have pulled this off without their help. Everything went smoothly and their attention to details and hospitality are among the best I’ve ever worked with. Planning an event/meeting can be challenging in Mumbai with unforeseeable circumstances. You do need this level of support to be able to make things happen the way it's planned to be. Thanks everyone for their efforts. Really appreciate it.
If this hotel were a Hilton or a Marriott, I would consider this hotel very good. By the standards expected of a Four Seasons, I think it should get 4 stars. The rooms are well-furnished but a bit small, the service is good but not outstanding. The Asian restaurant at the hotel has excellent food, and the rooftop bar is supposed to be outstanding but I did not get a chance to use it on either of my stays. Bombay in general is difficult for hotels because the best hotels (Taj Mahal, Oberoi) are inconveniently located in the southern end of the city, and the Four Seasons is perhaps the best hotel that is conveniently located for business meetings. One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is not by the beach, so even the so-called ocean view rooms only allow you to see the ocean beyond the nearby slums. But this appears to be a problem with most hotels in the city and is not unique to the Four Seasons.
Very convenient location and staff very courteous and helpful. Good selection at breakfast . Suitable for business as well as family travellers. A good choice for a short visit to Mumbai. Very close to the race course and a good view from some rooms.
