It is no surprise that this hotel has 5 stars. From the time you step out of your car to the time you leave, service is at its best. Everyone speaks English and if you as staff don't, there's English classes for staff on the premises. The includes the security personnel who is from another company. The guest experience team leader meets you at the car and welcomes you, explains what you need to know and where you will find whatever you need. She takes you to the room and also tells you what is available in the room. If anything is needed all u have to do is call the front desk and it's done. The rooms are clean, spacious and has everything and more that's needed. The food is great but pricey. No other hotel that's I've visited makes you feel like the prodigal son returning home. A fantastic experience. Yes staying at the Hyatt Regency Mumbai is an experience that everyone should have. I would however, have liked to be told upfront that the swimming pool is closed for maintenence work to mid Jan. That was a bit annoying discovering this when I checked in. Yet I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Hyatt Regency has my vote and I too vote this best hotel in Mumbai. Try it, its a wonderful experience when the service provider gets it right. Well Done!!!

First off, the location is very convenient being so close to the airport; you don’t even need to take a cab as you can just walk there. The security and privacy of the hotel is really assuring as they have competent checks and security personnel at the hotel entrance. The service however for such an establishment seemed lacking. We had booked two rooms on separate floors(4th and 6th) for 3 days and were not given access to each other’s floors through our keycards at the front desk, I had to talk to the manager in order to fix that and get extra keycards. The waitstaff at the all day restaurant(Glasshouse) were quite uncoordinated and inefficient considering it was only seated at half capacity. It took a while to be shown to a table and for our orders to be placed. The food on offer was quite satisfactory and we enjoyed the biryanis and kebabs in particular. Breakfast, does, also showcase a pleasant variety and spread. The rooms were well appearing but evidently in need of minor maintenance, the worst of which was when one of the rooms bathroom started flooding due to faulty piping. It’s their peak season but this sort of thing shouldn’t happen. The last issue would be when we had called guest services to inquire about renting a car for the day, we were supposed to be connected to the people in charge of that service but they were in a meeting and were asked to wait half an hour before we could speak to them. We found this incredulous and instead just rented out an Uber. On the whole, I would say the interiors are excellent, they had wedding receptions almost daily at the ballrooms and it was lovely seeing how different they were decorated as an outsider. Of course, a LOT more attention needs to be emphasised on training the staff to be more efficient, thorough and knowledgeable.

My wife and I had an overnight halt in Mumbai and we wanted to stay at a luxurious hotel to enjoy a good nights rest having had a hectic trip to attend a wedding in Chandigarh. We were delighted with our experience at the Hyatt. Check in was smooth and efficient and we were soon ensconced in our elegantly furnished room. We had to check out early next morning and the front desk manager was kind enough to provide a complimentary drop off to the Domestic Airport Terminal. We would surely like to go back again and maybe stay a couple of nights at this wonderful hotel on our next visit to Mumbai.

The Hyatt rooms, services, team and food were first class throughout. We stayed twice for a total of 4 nights and could not fault the venue. New Years Eve was especially well done. Buffer breakfast and evening meals are excellent quality.

Good hotel near the international airport at Mumbai. It took me less than 5 minutes to get in from the airport to the hotel. Excellent hotel absolute Value for money. Neat clean and functional. Enjoyed my stay and will come back for more.

What a great end to our trip in India. Having stayed at the novotel juhu mumbai on arriving in India and the poor service I received I was a little nervous about staying at a hotel in Mumbai. We had booked the Hyatt Regency so it was easier for us when flying back the next day. What a difference in service. It was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The staff were very friendly, smily and couldn’t do enough for you. When asked for extra towels in the room they arrived within a few minutes (not having to make numerous calls like I had to at Novotel juhu). The bags arrived in the room within minutes and brought down within check out. Everything was just so smooth and didn’t have to worry. The food at breakfast was great and again so many people serving us. Our transfer that was part of our package was again organised so well. It’s a fantastic hotel and sill definetly be staying here next time I return to mumbai. My parents are still in Mumbai for another 2 weeks and because I was so impressed with the hotel I have booked them a room too before they fly back to uk. Thank you Hyatt Regency Mumbai. You are doing something right and it would be good if other hotels were like yours.

Hyatt Regency is a beautiful high standard hotel. Common spaces are carefully decorated, and the rooms are magnificent. However service is surprisingly very poor in comparison to what could be expected from this level of a major hotel. Breakfast is excellent for whom can afford it. Special notice: pool and spa were on maintenance and we could not get the info when booking.

Stayed at Hyatt Regency Mumbai for 2 nights from 31st Dec to 2nd Jan for celebrating the New Years Eve. To my surprise the service in this hotels was extremely poor and was in complete contrast to the 2 earlier stays at Hyatt properties in Pune and Ahmedabad. While booking my room there was no announcement of any new year event and hence was asked to contact the hotel again by the reservation staff. As instructed by them I called the hotel and confirmed my booking for the New Year’s BBQ event thereafter on 20th Dec had followed up with an email to mumbai.regency however there was no return call or email to inform me anything more about my booking. Infact Hyatt Regency Mumbai, would be knowing that I was at Hyatt Residency Ahmedabad between 23rd and 27th December (I had informed this too during reservation). I reached the hotel for checkin on 31st Dec @ around 4:15pm although all the checkin counters were busy we were not even acknowledged for your presence in the lobby for over 20 minutes, when the counter staff did not follow the queue. During this time we were not offered seats neither water. When I went to the Detox Water Jar, I found it completely out of water. That when I approached Ms. Natasha who stated that she was the lobby manager.The tone here seemed to be rude and unprofessional and it gave an impression that I was unwanted in the hotel. I requested Natasha for water but was never given for the next 20 minutes for which I was in the lobby. I also saw after 15 minutes a staff putting some ice (not water) in the detox jar, probably me and my family was supposed to eat ice for quenching my thirst. The complete checkin process took me over 50 minutes which is the longest I have ever encountered wherever I have stayed (from a budget lodge to a luxury hotel) At the same time we were checking why my booking for BBQ NYE was not confirmed and I showed the email to Mr. Sayan at the Festival Desk . He kept looking at the email on my phone and kept on discussing with his college, he informed me that they never received my email, which is a complete lie since whenever I send an email I mark a CC to myself and secondly I did not receive any email bounce / undelivered message. When I asked him to complete my booking fast as I was already more than an hour in the lobby he started speaking to me loudly and rudely. Again in my polite and stern voice I had to remind him that I did not want to create a scene by taking loudly. The only person how i felt as help was Ms. Tejaswini who I felt was a extremely helpful. At every stage I informed my concern to the concerned staff. During this entire episode I did not find a single senior management staff present in the lobby to look after the customer and their staff who were struggling and seemed completely incapable to handing high number of customer. This eventually transferred into the rode behaviour of the front office staff who I felt acted like goons. Also if one of the Lobby Manager and Festival Desk Manager (Natasha and Sayan) could be rude them not much can be expected of other staff members. Again the problems continued at the BBQ Nights ew Year Event. The food was a compete disappointment. There was only one genuine Barbeque counter for high number of guests. Infact we a family of 3 literally had one small piece each of Chicken, Lamb, Fish and Paneer ; nothing else as when ever we ordered the food never arrived at our tables. At the end we were frustrated and ordered 3 Chicken burger which never arrived for 30 mins even after I personally informing the chef at the counter. Then I informed Vinay that had i orders for McDonalds the burger delivery would have arrived long time back. More over I had informed Vinay for a bottle of water this too did not arrive for nearly an hour after 2nd reminder to Vinay a 1 litre water bottle was dumped on our table. I again waited and waited for the glasses to arrive which never arrived. Again I asked a staff member to call Vinay and asked Vinay to suggest me a way to drink water. He then very rudely informed that we were supposed to take small bottle. But he did not know that I had approached the bar for water bottles in the interim where I was given one bottle and had to beg for another bottle. I informed him about the same and told him that i did not wish to beg again. This lie (that they provided only small bottles) stated Vinay was quite evident since me and my family had noticed 1 litre bottles along with glasses on 2 adjoining tables around us (table 5 and one table next to it which had a big group of 8 - 10). The quality and taste of drinks served here were too bad, most probably the bar was manned by untrained staff, again this is a due to inefficient and bad management. At every stage the mistakes were highlighted to staff and Vinay who provided a fake apology. The only person again who showed genuine concern was Ms. Tejaswini On the preceding night of checkout, I went to the Front office again and informed Mr. Akash or Akshay and informed him that I was to checkout next day early at 7 am and I did not want any delays. To this I was told that the morning time at 7am are very busy and again rudely suggested to check out then and there itself. Next day morning at 7am I saw the contours completely empty. On the day of our checkout I called for Dairy Creamer for the coffee machine which arrived after 30mins. I had to return the same unused. At every instance we noticed a lack of management commitment. Just to give one example of our previous stay at the Lalit New Delhi hotel for the same New Year Eve. Then too that hotel was full capacity but I could find the GM of the Hotel Mr. Vivek Shukla every where in the hotel, taking care of his customers and staff, right for ushering customers for breakfast to making then comfortable at the lobby. Men like these make difference in managing a hotel. Not the one who hide fearing customer and staff. On the other bright side there was some exemplary staff member such as Tejaswini, Sagar who fixed the internet problems, Shrikant who helped my find a good seat for the BBQ dinner. The other staff at the Lounge Prasad and Gaurav. If not for Shrikant, Tejaswini and Sagar I would have rated this hotel as terrible. Hyatt need to immediately fix the management or disassociate themselves from this property to avoid loosing their high earned reputation. Best wishes to Sagar, Tejaswini, Shrikant, Prasad and Gaurav would do good to themselves by finding a job at a better hotels Note: All the above details can be verified by the Hotel Management through their CCTV or else if requested some of the photos clicked by me and emails can be provided as a supportive evidence

The hotel is located almost directly across from the International airport. It's a modern hotel with good conference and a decent business center. It's ideally located for business or short travel stop before a flight. The service and staff are excellent.

My husband and I had several hours before our flight back to US. We decided to hang out at the Hyatt. We dined in their restaurant and really enjoyed the service received. We want to recognize our server, Prashant Misra. He was really friendly and WOWed is with appetizers and dessert offerings. He was observant to notice we had only ordered vegetarian items and so he brought us vegetarian samplers to try. He was really attentive and friendly. We wish him the best and commend him for his customer service.
