The lady at the front desk when we arrived at approximately 9:00 p.m ( don't know her name that's why I'm having to say what time is she was there) was absolutely one of the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with at a hotel in my life. She was fine when we checked in, but after that, she was awful. Our door would not lock in our room, even after slamming our door. Therefore, we felt very unsafe. We were afraid to leave anything in the room because of that. Refused to give our money back so we could leave and go somewhere else. Said manager would talk to us the next morning. Manager never reached out to us or anything. We had a hole in the wall. The TV was missing out of the second bedroom (website said there would be one) Was also told by Expedia there was suppose to be one when I inquired about that, she said she had no idea what was supposed to be in that room. Just on and on and on. I can't let you know about the breakfast because we were afraid to eat the breakfast after what we had encountered. I have worked in the hotel industry for over 11 years and have stayed at multiple hotels. And I can say, by far, this is the worst I have ever experienced in my life and I have experienced some pretty shady places.

South mtn getaway

Checking was a little awkward because they attempted to charge my card several times prior to my arrival. The front desk and housekeeping were annoying because they accused us of smoking. We allowed the manager to enter the room and he apologized repeatedly for misunderstanding.

This hotel was an interesting juxtaposition between old and new. It clearly needs updating. State of the art TV and comfortable bed. At one time there must have been a chair in the corner and now a gaping hole. Great coffee yet the breakfast was inedible. Poor offerings and clearly the workers staying at the hotel ate it all very early. We only drank coffee due to lack of hot food. Accommodating front desk staff. Antiquated shower head and tub was losing finish. Dripping faucet in shower. Would not choose this hotel again.

Unfortunately, our stay was less than satisfactory. The room was dirty and smelled like smoke. The breakfast options were very poor. When we stayed here the last time it wasn’t that bad but now it has a lot of issues. The hotel most definitely needs work done, painting and a deep cleaning.
