The Quality INN in Morganton was able to accommodate me very quickly after my family suffered a power outage. The staff is very nice, very helpful. The rooms are very clean. Definitely will be coming back to stay with them. Thank you Quality Inn.
Best stay great staff and they were really helpful and friendly. The room was updated and the area was great! The breakfast was really good and had a lot of options. I really recommend this hotel they have great Service .
I usually travel to Morganton in the fall to see the beautiful leaves of western North Carolina, and this stay was the best I’ve had yet. The room was very spacious and had modern furniture can comfy beds. I woke up to a delicious hot breakfast, I had bacon, sausage, eggs and a Belgian waffle. The staff was amazing and very friendly and the rate was a bargain for such a nice stay. Will definitely be back soon!
Don't trust your life to this company, they could care less if you live or die. They will ignore fire codes, allow neighbors to run BBQs next to your room. They will ignore you reporting fumes in your room. They don't care about your safety.
The room was nice but the breakfast was sort of crazy and food was cold ..NEED BETTER BREAKFAST ...MY DAUGHTER wasn't happy she paid cash and they charged her card also so she has to deal with stress but got it straightened out
We stayed one night at the Quality Inn in Morganton as we were traveling. The gentleman at the front desk was so kind and helpful and friendly which is so nice after a day on the road. We got a king sized bed in a very very very clean room. The room was quiet, at the back of the property and had a chair with footstool. I think that's nice because I don't want to sit on the bed all the time. The bathroom was spotless with lovely hot water. The breakfast this morning included scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage links. Waffles, cereal, toast, yogurt, cinnamon rolls, bananas and apples were available too. Even biscuits and gravy! The hotel has a huge pool in the courtyard that looked so clean and refreshing. The hotel is right off I-40 so very convenient. We would stay here again no doubt!
This was a last minute choice on our way home from a trip to the Smokies. Even though it was late they not only had a room it was a great room with a king size bed, It is also pet friendly with no extra fees! The rates are reasonable and the beds are so comfortable. cleanliness is top rate!
I stayed here on a Friday night pulling off the road once too tired to mush further. I was greeted graciously by Deborah who was willing to show me a room before booking. ( I had an indelible lesson with bed bugs years ago.) She was patient while I went through my bed precheck lifting mattress & rumpling covers with flashlight in hand. All seemed clear if albeit showing signs of use. I booked and unloaded my things. As I began unpacking I noticed signs of housekeeping simply going through the motions: dead beatles and insects in the corners, only one kleenex left in the box, dust on the lamp bases and the corners of the bathroom, a coated bathroom vent, and the big problem - the mattress cover was filthy covered in hairs and loose debris like ash or leaves that disintegrated upon further contact. I stripped the bed and went back to Deborah for a new set. Once the bed was remade with clean, albeit stained sheets, I started to get ready for bed. Maintenance also seems to be coasting on their attention at this property. Highly annoying was the "strobe" bathroom light and the broken in two pieces tub stopper. The next morning I was impressed with the variety among the hot breakfast bar even late in the dining window, but the quality was again disappointing (biscuits & pastries rock hard, gravy & bacon too greasy, et al.) Last, but not least, when I turned in my key, I was met by a younger desk clerk more interested in applying her fake eyelashes than customer care. In short, Deborah deserves a raise and her choice of shifts. Next time I would exhaust other options before stopping here to sleep for the night. I have stayed at other Choice hotels where more attention to detail by the staff offset the lesser quality of offerings associated with a budget tier hotel.
Hotel was pleasant clean and staff very friendly and helpful Located in the mountains of North Carolina was very beautiful scenery close to towns and attractions I recommend this hotel to anyone who maybe passing thru as I did
Stayed here to be close to MerleFest. They are remodeling the lobby which would be OK but there was sticky glue on the floor where you walk. When we checked in the desk clerk told us we'd be staying poolside-sound nice right t. WRONG! The pool is empty, cracked and moldy, was disgusting to look at. The walkways were cracked and peeling. If I didn't see other guests around, I would have said they placed my abandoned by the looks of it. Our room had fairly nice furniture, frig and shower head were OK, but.....the ceilng was peeling and looked like it might cave in. The bathroom door was also cracking, stained and peeling. The one redeeming thing that kept us from clearing out (beside the fact that everything close to our destination was now booked) was that the mattresses and bedding seemed new, wergood quality and very comfortable. Breakfast was same ole, same ole fare all Choice Hotels this level have. Kids and most people would find it OK. Hot water dispenser was not put together correctly, had to find staff to fix it for us in order to make oatmeal/tea.
