Can't wait to type this review before I finish the stay on Friday. Even after renovation, this hotel is not good with sound proof, my room is not close to elevator but can still hear lots of noise and mumbling from next door. Poor electric circuit installation because when I turn off the light at the entrance door it will also affect the washroom lights. Main light over my bed is blinking every 10 minutes or so, which is most likely caused by others who are turning on or off the light switch on my floor. Ordered from hotel restaurant and received poor service just because I was not sitting in and take out. Nice to have a microwave but fridge was not cleaned with drink left from previous guest. Water supply is not consistent with volume and temperature (not hot enough or become cold from time to time). Even though price to stay was a bargain but it is way below expectation for a three start hotel, let alone it is rated 4-star by Quebec Tourism at the entrance. Will definitely not return for my next business trip.
We stayed here for 2 nights and found the suite very comfortable. The hotel is just off one of the main highways which made it easy for us to navigate. There has a lot of construction going on in the area but the hotel was not affected.
The hotel is beautifully renovated. I was very happy with the room. Even though was just off the elevator it was really quiet. Zmaya restaurant was nice as well. Could barely hear the highway outside. Had the fish and chips. It was ok.
I've been guest in october with some friends between flights. Clean, quite, friendly personell, good location. very good for a stop over. The shuttle service from and to the airport makes it easy to come and go. Restaurant ok, pitty for the paper and plastic tableware.
This is not a hotel. This is not renovated. I was with a group and arrived a day early. I had to check out as the toilet in my room was dirty. The whole room stank and the corridor to the room was stinking. These carpets have ben there since 1950? Chamber of Commerce you can not allow this as a Airport hotel as it gives a wrong impression. They charged me 170C$ for the night. Any Motel beats this.
You won't believe this hotel had been completely renovated; different from other Quality hotels; it's clean, bright and big room/suite. There was a seperate bed room, sitting area and dinner table, it's a very good size for a family. Front desk are very friendly and courteous, shuttle driver was very helpful to lift our 4 big bags. Except the servers at the restaurant need more smile on their faces.
The Quality Inn Suites was absolutely awful. From the poor customer service to the dirty facilities. The Quality Inn was far from good quality. Once we arrived after a very long flight we hoped that we would be able to get into a warm and comfy bed to rest. However, we were greeted with stained bedsheets, cobwebs dangling from the ceiling, dust covering the bedside lights, stained carpets and furniture and curtains that did not close. Being on the ground floor with open windows this made us question our safety as we could see people walking by. Once showering- the only place we felt clean, we slept fully clothed, the only way we felt comfortable. We hoped that things would be better in the morning, and the buffet breakfast would make up for the dreadful night we had, but things did not get better. The breakfast was disgusting either, overcooked baked beans, undercooked white sausages, cereal, pastries and toast. Whilst this was all less that intolerable, everything was to be eaten on disposable paper plates which was accompanied by disposable plastic cups for drinks. I have never encountered such awful crockery in a hotel. My partner and I would never stay at this hotel again and would discourage anyone that wanted to stay unless they was looking for a youth hostel.
I stayed here as a park and fly package. The hotel is dark and in disrepair, and the neighbourhood is intimidating. They made us sign an additional waiver that stated we knew Montreal Police had identified this area as a high car theft / car crime area. Happily, our car was still there, untouched when we returned but the return shuttle took over an hour and 4 phone calls before it arrived. The hotel is only 5 minutes away. the front desk and the driver each gave me 2 apologetic stories for the delay, blaming each other, all of which were contradicting and full of holes.
I have stayed at this Choice Hotel on several occasions. Mainly I parked my car to fly out of Montreal. This last time June 2017 as usual, made reservations Park and Fly. When I got to the hotel, they told me that many vehicle have been broken into and things stolen. Strongly suggested indoor parking at an additional fee of $80 dollars for the week. In the past I never had a problem, even the Manager a Moraccan gentlemen said the same as the desk clerk...robberies - car break ins etc. This along with having to walk a very very long corridor to my room was not a pleasant stay.
This seems to be the place for people who have been bumped or dumped by their airline or locals who choose the "stay and park" option. For us, our flight out of Montreal was cancelled and with few other rooms available, this is what was "found" for us. We were lucky to get a voucher for the flight cancellation, as it was due to bad weather and not mechanical. We didn't get meal vouchers, but that was okay. We crammed into a van from the airport and arrived at this hotel about 8:00 p.m. The front desk was a bit overwhelmed with the flood of new arrivals. We got our room card and stepped into a very, very small elevator and ,upon reaching our floor, exited to journey down a very narrow and somewhat unsettling hallway. If someone was exiting their room they would almost certainly "crashed" into the person walking in front of their door; that's a bit creepy. The air in the room was still and had a musty scent. We immediately went for the air conditioner and realized that this monster of a machine would be churning all night with drapes flapping over the outtake vents. The wakeup call didn't arrive as asked; that's why I always travel with my own clock and use the front desk as my backup. In this instance, my clock was the primary and backup! However, staff was friendly and courteous! We had dinner in the restaurant. No air conditioning, only a fan to circulate the air. It was hot and sticky and several of the patrons were wiping away sweat. Almost anything can taste good when you haven't eaten in nearly 10 hours, so I'll have to admit that the food was better than the room. The server was kind, very thoughtful and understood our inconvenience; she got a good tip! Shuttle service in the morning, very early - 4:30 a.m. - worked! Just as we were crammed arriving the night before, the sardines all jammed back into the can for a return trip to the Montreal airport. The only people who should be paying to stay are those who have have chosen to stay overnight and take advantage of the longterm parking, or the airline that ponies up a voucher.
