The Good: Location - Close to the Airport Room - The room (#2218) was decent with nice TV and bed. Had asked for a room away from the elevators and did not have any noise problem. The Bad: View from the room was not the best. Preferred to keep the curtains drawn. Shampoo/conditioner etc not the best quality but not bad to get by The Ugly: Staff - The first room assigned to us had an old style fridge and the AC was making a buzzing sound. Called the reception and she asked me to come down and see them at the reception. Got the bags down and waited again at the reception. The receptionist asked more questions about what kind of sounds and asked me to go with one of their employees/errand person to show him what kind of sound the AC was making so as to verify. Came back down and got a new room finally. Breakfast: Average breakfast served on paper plates and plastic forks & knives. You will be fine if you stick to fruits, eggs and coffee/tea. Advice for the hotel: Change your staff, improve the quality of your food, get rid of the paper and plastic cutleries.

My flight was canceled and I was fortunate enough to get a voucher and stay at Quality. As I didn’t pay, I cant comment on its value for dollar. However, it was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities you’d expect of an airport hotel. If you ever have to stay near the airport for whatever reason, this hotel certainly is worth it. Friendly staff as well and above all for me the room was clean which is hard to find at other hotels in the area according to trip advisor. Free coffee, tea and pleasant atmosphere.

We stayed here on both ends of our trip. Both stays were pleasant. Quick check in. Friendly staff. The restaurant was good for dinner. Breakfast is included and is your regular hotel breakfast. Less than 10 minutes on the complimentary shuttle to the airport or Via station. The price is much better than a lot of the airport hotels. I would stay here again.

Our flight was delayed so Air Canada put us up in this rat trap of a “hotel” Quality Hotel Dorval - Quality as a name is ironic. Room problems: *Bathroom light didn’t work *Despite setting temperature at 23, it defaulted to 19 and we froze during the night *The light from the parking lot shone into the room despite room-darkening curtains (probably because the drapes were too short). We had a view of the parking lot or garbage dump but that’s no big deal (Just ugly). They were renovating rooms in the section in which we were assigned so our room was in a construction zone. This was a problem as the kids wanted to go into the many open rooms that had wires hanging down, concrete floors. It was completely unsafe to send people with young children into a deserted construction area. There were no numbers on several doors and it took forever to find the room because of the bizarre numbering system. All the people of our flight were milling around trying to find their rooms. The shuttle to/from the airport was held together by a Bungee cord. The window beside my seat bounced open with every bump (and it was freezing cold - as it was 3 Jan 2018). It was disconcerting as it felt like the van was going to fall apart at any moment. The front desk manager was super grumpy. He told us we had to be at the front at 6:20 am to catch the 6:30 am shuttle (implying that if we weren't there early, we might miss it). So we ended up standing around for 15 minutes and everyone else then arrived (there was no need to rush). There was supposed to be a continental breakfast but either we were too early for it (it was not there at 6:30) or they maybe served it somewhere other than where we were (didn't appear to be anywhere near the lobby). The reception parking lot had an overhang. It had many light bulb sockets. About 1/3 worked, about 1/3 were broken, 1/3 were not turned on or were burnt out. All of this malfunctioning (construction, taped-together shuttle, 1/3 working lights) made our stay horrible. I am so glad we didn't pay for it. Maybe that's why the hotel treated us so badly; those from the airline are sub-par customers. Well, I heard an ad on the radio today for Quality Hotel - and I will avoid the entire chain because of this particular experience. It really was a terribly, sub-par hotel. I definitely recommend against staying here.

Can't wait to type this review before I finish the stay on Friday. Even after renovation, this hotel is not good with sound proof, my room is not close to elevator but can still hear lots of noise and mumbling from next door. Poor electric circuit installation because when I turn off the light at the entrance door it will also affect the washroom lights. Main light over my bed is blinking every 10 minutes or so, which is most likely caused by others who are turning on or off the light switch on my floor. Ordered from hotel restaurant and received poor service just because I was not sitting in and take out. Nice to have a microwave but fridge was not cleaned with drink left from previous guest. Water supply is not consistent with volume and temperature (not hot enough or become cold from time to time). Even though price to stay was a bargain but it is way below expectation for a three start hotel, let alone it is rated 4-star by Quebec Tourism at the entrance. Will definitely not return for my next business trip.

We stayed here for 2 nights and found the suite very comfortable. The hotel is just off one of the main highways which made it easy for us to navigate. There has a lot of construction going on in the area but the hotel was not affected.

The hotel is beautifully renovated. I was very happy with the room. Even though was just off the elevator it was really quiet. Zmaya restaurant was nice as well. Could barely hear the highway outside. Had the fish and chips. It was ok.

I've been guest in october with some friends between flights. Clean, quite, friendly personell, good location. very good for a stop over. The shuttle service from and to the airport makes it easy to come and go. Restaurant ok, pitty for the paper and plastic tableware.

This is not a hotel. This is not renovated. I was with a group and arrived a day early. I had to check out as the toilet in my room was dirty. The whole room stank and the corridor to the room was stinking. These carpets have ben there since 1950? Chamber of Commerce you can not allow this as a Airport hotel as it gives a wrong impression. They charged me 170C$ for the night. Any Motel beats this.

You won't believe this hotel had been completely renovated; different from other Quality hotels; it's clean, bright and big room/suite. There was a seperate bed room, sitting area and dinner table, it's a very good size for a family. Front desk are very friendly and courteous, shuttle driver was very helpful to lift our 4 big bags. Except the servers at the restaurant need more smile on their faces.
