We were expecting a much better experience at the William Gray Hotel, the restaurant was pitiful for dinner and sub par for breakfast! Room was clean, staff were polite, food did not live up to the hype! Very disappointed.

In the heart of Old Montreal. Service is amongst the best in the World. Personal pre check in call followed by personal approach on property. It has been a long time since I have witnessed on service property employees with smiles on their faces. If the employees are happy the guests will be happy. We waited to long to visit Montreal but when we return we will only stay at the William Gray.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Old Montreal — wish that I could have stayed longer! The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Had dinner at Perche, the rooftop patio and enjoyed great views, food and friendly bar staff. Will definitely come again 😊

Wonderful hotel but our room location was not good. Low and just above Main Street (loud). All other rooms move away from that street. I appreciate someone has to have it but since it was priced the same as others, a heads up would have been nice - like an obstructed view warming at sporting event. When it was mentioned at checkout there was not much said. Otherwise a lovely hotel with nice staff. Would definitely stay again but not in that room.

The shopping area was higher end touristy but had some lovely artisanal shops and fine dining in Old Montreal The high point of this hotel was the superb and outstanding staff, who went out of their way to help me with luggage and other issues. Each staff member went above and beyond expectations , and I have found my favourite hotel. The room was impeccable as well, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The rooftop was lovely, as was the outdoor cafe and the entire facilities. It was a perfect little gem of a boutique hotel.

Overall amazing location. Bars and shopping steps away. A lot of options for food and cocktails walking distance. However, it was loud at night due to room over the alleyway which made it difficult to sleep.
