I spend there one night and it was not satisfactory at all. I paid something like 190 euro for this night (breakfast included) and my overall comments are: > room was with old forniture, and near the breakfast entry. > breakfast was really weak > there was a lot of humidity in the room and the airconditioner was very noisy. It was full of turist when I was travelling for business, and is not really appropiate. I don't recommend for this price and for business.

We stayed here for six nights. The hotel is centrally located and close to many tourist sites and to the metro. Security is good with the front desk buzzing people into the lobby late at night The front desk staff are friendly, knowledgeable about the hotel and area. We asked at the front desk for extra pillows and they arrived at the room ten minutes later. Housekeeping is of the highest standard and the room was kept very clean. Quick editorial here - it never hurts to leave a tip for housekeeping staff - just a personal preference of mine. The room was an adequate size for two people. Linens, towels, and toiletries were good. Lots of hot water. Elevators are good. Room was quiet and comfortable with good A/C. There was a complimentary breakfast with a good selection including: fruit, yogurt, toast, boiled eggs, cereals, cheese, juices and milk. You can buy additional breakfast food if you want. The staff in the dining area work hard to keep the tables cleared and clean. I would recommend this hotel to all types of travellers: singles, couples, families and people travelling on business trips r from r pleasure. Prices are fair and competitive. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The hotel is located a block away from the China town entrance and a block from St. Catherine street which is very convenience location to hit touristy places in Old Montreal. 1. We came during the weekday in July. For USD 160+ a night for a family of 4, we chose the bunk beds room. It was so small. No fridge, no closet. A desk, a small side table in the room with a coffee maker with only one coffee pouch. The upper bed is smaller, a little bit bigger than a toddler bed. The lower bed is the size of twin bed. If you are a tall person, you can't sit on lower bed by the wall your head will hit the upper bed, need to roll over or slide down/out to get up.. Excellent WIFI and few channels on TV. 2. Bathroom: Nice, clean The shower is super small. Big people will find a challenging time to move around. 3. Breakfast choices are yogurt, cereal, slice cheese, pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew slices, mini plain and chocolate croissants, bread, english muffin, milk, OJ, grapefruit juice, hard boiled eggs, coffee and tea. Hot breakfast is available for additional fee. 4. Location: On a busy street, one block to the right is the entrance of China town, go straight pass china town you will hit Old Montreal.. St. Catherine street is parallel to Blvd Rene Levesque where the hotel is located. Go left on St. Catherine for about 10-15 blocks you will find Eaton Center where the underground shopping mall is and McGill 5. Parking: left on the street after the hotel, you will find two underground parking garage. One on the left hand side garage charged $15, the right hand side garage charged $22 for 24 hours parking.

I was here with some friends, we chose this place because we wanted something walking distance from Palais des Congres (about 5 minutes) and I guess we made some sacrifices in doing so. It didn't start off well because there was some confusion with my reservation, but they did eventually clear that up. The lady who helped me was giving me a weird attitude (and I didn't provoke her to be like this), but everyone else I had interacted with later were quite nice to me. Parking is extremely limited, so I was there 15 minutes before check in, and even that was tight (I'd say there's about 35 parking spots) as there were only a few spots left. We had one of the rooms with a bunk bed and though it was very small, it functioned for us. We had a group of friends staying in a room with a double and a pull out sofa and it seemed to offer decent spacing, so I may look into that for the future. It's a fairly new renovation in the bathroom by the looks of it, so that was nice, and the housekeeping staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice, people are complaining no hot food, there is a lot available compared to most hotels. I did purchase a hot breakfast for a nominal cost, and it was pretty good. I tried out their fitness centre too, it was small but had what I needed and had a neat atmosphere late at night - bit of a fishbowl effect, but still good. They ask that you clean the equipment (which is what I always do) but they had no cleaning solution around and the paper towel was stuck... so I couldn't clean what I used and I felt really bad about that. All that to say, I would probably stay here again because location is great and it's not a horrible experience.

I didn't know that in downtown of one of the main Canadian cities it is possible. Small room with 2-level beds - can't even sit on it, no closet, can't open a door without assistance of the staff as the lock is consistently stuck. Cleaning of the rooms either takes 3 hours so we can't use it or not finished at all, like today. They made just 1 bed and left everything else untouched, including garbage basket, towels on the floor, no fresh coffee... I gave 2 stars for free breakfast and politeness of the staff. But the room wouldn't qualify even for a motel...

This hotel is too expensive for what it offers. When I saw the price on the web page I expected something completely different! It is overpriced for what it offers! When I reserved online I put 4 people but the reality of size of the room is too small and it gives very different information previously. The room is so small it doesn't have a closet, no desk, no fridge, it has a sofa bed that doesn't fit 2 children ( one of my kids had to sleep on the floor). And something else is that they never sent me a letter after our stay! I have traveled very much and every hotel sends you a letter afterwards sending you a questionnaire with your opinion. I will never stay in this hotel again

Unfortunately my stay was not as I expected. After the first night, going down for breakfast I found an insect on the floor... well I didn't care at all. I came back hours later and it was still on the floor... the worst thing that happened and I am still trying to figure out is that I left my room and by the time I got back it was locked from the inside. Its not possible to lock it from outside, so keys were with me and both actually working but the door would not open. A guy came and he had to break the latch... how did this happened if no one was inside?

Room was extremely small. It is no bigger than a small room on a cruise ship. But if all you need is a place to hang your hat. Then this is it. The complimentary breakfast is not a hot breakfast. The coffee and tea are the only things hot. It consists of Coffee/tea, croissants, cheese slices, hard boiled eggs, cold cereal, orange & grapefruit juice. You can order a hot meal for I believe $6.95 cad. But if your looking for a full hot breakfast, hit a restaurant outside the hotel. You'll do much better. There is NO AIRPORT SHUTTLE as advertised by them. Would I return, Nope !

This is not a Canadian equivalent of the UK Travelodge The rooms are small, so much so that in a Twin bedded room one bed is at 90 degrees to the other and there is literaly no room to move around once you add a couple of suitcases. We complained about the room and were eventually given a double - which is the same size room but laid out a little better - arranged by the duty manager after the receptionist had told us about the very small room she had to live in and that if we wanted a bigger room we should have gone to the 4* Hotel up the road!

Great location close to Old Montreal which is in walking distance. It is also located just outside of Montreal's China Town. Great service from the staff but the rooms are small and can be noisy depending on the guests staying next door to you. Parking is an additional charge.
