The host Sam was very accommodating and helpful. They let us store our luggage as our flight arrived early in the AM. Location was ideal for a hockey weekend!
This was the perfect location for our stay. It was clean and tidy when we arrived. Close to the things we wanted to do in the area. We enjoyed the walk to nearby restaurants and cafes. There was plenty of space for me and my friends to relax and unwind after a day of touring the city. While the construction was slightly inconvenient, access to the building to get in and out was easy. As mentioned by others you do have to carry your luggage up stairs which was good to know before we arrived. The host was attentive and checked to make sure we had everything we needed.
The property was clean and comfortable. There was construction on the street in front of the property making it a bit tricky to access the front door of the building. Once we figured out how to access the building, all was good. This is a walk up, it was not a problem for us to carry our luggage up the staircase, but could be difficult for some people. We walked to down town and old Montreal because we love walking and don't mind the distance (working off all the calories we ate with the great food!). Amour de Pain is just down the street and serves up delicious hot coffee and flaky croissants and sandwiches on homemade bread. I would stay again with a lighter suitcase (to carry up the stairs)!
