A very clean and modern hotel. Large rooms with a really nice breakfast. Away from the city center, but convenient to a tram stop and only a short ride to center. Probably better suited to business stays than holidays.

Walking distance to Corum conference center where I attended a medical conference. Walking distance to the parks, shopping area and Fabre museum. The hotel is modern yet has an old charm within. Staff are very pleasant and accommodating. This hotel is perfect for those who do not want to use taxi or tram service because you can walk to nearly all points of interest . Definitely would stay there again.

Having had our first night out of town we (son 17 and Dad) decided to stay in the crown plaza. It is a lovely modern hotel tucked way from the large opera house at Corum, we checked in early 1pm so we could drop our bags in and go off for lunch. We had a spacious twin room with a huge bath or all the other extras associated with a CP. The hotel is a five minute walk from the tram stop at Corum on the blue line. We decided to walk up to the old town (tram stop Comédie), this involved walking the through the park, which seemed to attract one or two less salubrious characters with giant dogs and lots of beer, we decided when we returned to Comédie in the evening we would get the tram from Corum. A book of 10 tram tickets is €10 and make sure you scan it in on the tram itself once aboard. This is a brilliant way to get round Montpellier. Our package included breakfast which again was in keeping with the standard expected of a CP, with a good choice of hot and cold food and a large selection of drinks, the pre cooked buffet breakfast food looked a bit tired (at 10am) so I ordered a freshly cooked omelette which was really tasty, the son enjoyed a selection of pastries and some mini pancakes with a cup of hot chocolate. The hotel has a lovely bar and swimming pool area on the first floor which I imagine would be really nice in the summer. A great location for exploring the old town, with it’s selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay again, although rather sadly the bar area was empty when we went out to dinner and again we we ordered a drink on our return, not very much atmosphere. I guess everyone was was out in the old town!!

The hotel is situated next to the Corum Congress centre. And on walking distance of the Place.de la Comedienne. Four floors with comfortable beds. The food is all right, without being exceptional. Some larger rooms for meetings are available. Taxi from Montpellier airport about €25.=

I should have asked, but I think this was a boutique hotel that was later taken over by the current operator. Architecturally, it's contemporary on the inside and somewhat modern on the outside. The context of the architecture is well played as the building is nestled on a site with various levels. Located a few minutes walk away from the town centre, you have easy access to the neighborhood and tram. The surroundings are very natural, so there is no sound pollution at night. The rooms were very clean, moderately sized, and full of amenities. The staff all spoke very good English and were very helpful and accommodating at ALL times. We spent 4 comfortable nights there.

I returned to the Crowne Plaza after two years. When I visited this hotel first time everything looked new and fresh. Now my room was not 100% clean, things look filthy and used. It's a shame that they don't seem to maintain the level.

Very nice property, absolutely brand new, nice patio with swimming pool and safe garage together with welcoming Staff. Near the city centre and well located to go to Le Grau du Roi Thank you very much and see you next year

I have stayed in the hotel before and was excited to return for my anniversary . I booked a weekend in April for the end of August and paid immediately through booking.com. 3 days before we were due to arrive I was told the hotel was now over booked and we couldn't stay. They did offer a replacement hotel and sort it for us, however we had booked this hotel for a reason. I was also only notified by email which I could easily have missed . I just do not believe that everyone else who stayed there booked and paid before me in April. I believe the hotel over booked and because we had it on a discount rate they got rid of us first. Very disappointing . Beware.

Located near the conference centre is is a five minute walk from the centre of town. Nice modern rooms and a sunny pool and bar. Modern room, service was fine, not great. Overall a good stay. If you want a reliable brand and place to stay rather than independent hotel then this would probably work for you. (Note the bridge to the conference centre might not help you get there quickly as the doors near the bridge were not open when I was there! So you had a longer walk around the other side.)

Montpellier is such a pleasant, vibrant city that's a perfect stopover while touring the South of France! Culture, restaurants, bars and beaches! What more could someone ask for in a city that's just the right size - not too big and not too small. This is our third visit to Montpellier and twice we've stayed at the Crown Plaza. It has everything one needs for a pleasant stay. The accommodations are modern & clean with a restaurant and pool. The location is excellent, near a beautiful park which is next to Place de la Comedie. What really makes our stay here special is the staff, especially at the front desk. Audrey was indispensable, helping us daily both with reservations and great suggestions. She was spot on and did not let us down once!!! Ludovic was always pleasant as well and equally as helpful, along with Amro. I wouldn't stay anywhere else as service and accommodations are always consistent.
