The hotel is getting worse every year but the prices are rising. AC in the room is working but it is so loud as it is run by a steam engine not an electric motor. One lift was not working but they repaired it the next day. In the bathroom you can smell the drain outlets as it was not cleaned since opening of the hotel.

A standard place to spend the night. Wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for proper comfort. However, it does the job fine for a short stay or if you are on a tight budget. Convenient when visiting with a car as there is plenty of free parking spaces outside (may/june).

Having had a great experience before I was going to book for a week in August 2017 but they were asking 540€ ..which was the same price as hotels in central Montpellier for the same week. On asking if i could take my chihuaha, after sending four messages they finally reponded that it woul cost 8€ per day extra(56€) On top of that it would have been another 35€for using their car park. Decided to book a room at Ibis Montpellier Sud for 7 nights - including parking, dog (5€), taxes and breakfast everday it came to just 402€ ....a huge saving and its two miles closer to the centre!

Arriving we had to phone because we could not find the entrance of the appart. The receptionist was upset about that, we would say...then, they consider themselves 3*, well it is not. If you have a room facing the street, good luck sleeping....But I think the worst was the Breakfast. Let me tell you about this. They propose breakfast from 8:00am to 11:00 am. Well we arrived at 9:30 am, and guess what. All the tables were empty and dirty, cups, dishes, all on the tables. So since nobody took care of it, we clean a table, and then the buffet was basically empty!! we ask to the fruit salad to be refilled, orange juice, gourmandise, bread. I wonder why do they even bother to propose breakfast??? No service what so ever. Last but not all, if you are oblige to go there make sure you ask for a room in the back, if you are not fortunate you may get a room facing the street, and then good luck sleeping..Ah yes, I almos forgot, at night when you come in without a car, make sure you ask how to get in, if not the person at the desk will be upset you bother him to open for you.

Room was quiet and quite comfortable. The only place we could go for a meal was at the stadium but I guess it was Sunday. Self contained with a small kitchen behind slide outs. Found this room a reasonable 1 nighter at a reasonable price. Not an area a tourist would probable want to be.

This room was booked and paid for in advance through Hotwire. From the outside the place looks nice enough but once inside it can be seen that this place is in dire need of some TLC. The AC was barely working, the cutlery dirty, the glasses smelled like someone had taken a leak in them and we suspected that something may have actually died inside the dishwasher. For the full price being charged I would have expected a place that was not quite so dated and a lot cleaner

I am staying in this hotel at least once per year and the hotel is getting from bad to worse. In the room the corridor light is not working (and the staff did not notice that), the shower handle is holding on the wall by some miracle, room cleaning is only changing the towels and arrange the bed - but switching. off the AC where outside is over 35 degrees Celsius. If you come to breakfast after 8,30 (and they are serving it up to 10.30) your choices are very limited. If you need a room for 1 night it is OK, considering that the price per night was 72 € but elsvere I advise to check another options.

I booked this hotel on Hotwire and it ended up being further from the center than I expected. It is about a 15 minute walk to the nearest tram station and then another 15 minutes on the tram to get to the center. Upon entering the room it smelt like it had just been sprayed with perfume, and the bathroom smelt like it had just been used. The room was quite hot and I could not get the A/C unit to function. The sheets had hair on them, disgusting. Would not recommend.

Ive been to Montpellier about six or sevent times and thought i knew the city but no...it took me two and a half hours to find the hotel. Its an extremely complicated city to drive in with lots of one way streets, tramway lines and huge amount of street works. calling the hotel didn't make it any easier. Having said that it was great value. I paid €116 for three nights in peak season in July. The room was nicely decorated, comfy bed and had a separate kitchenette with fridge and micro. It also had a separate bathroom and toilet and a door separating them from the bedroom. Parking is 4€ extra a night. Fast wifi and free. for fast food lovers there is a KFC and a Mcdonalds within walking distance but absolutely nothing else! Rooms overlook busy roundabout but no noise issues. Id stay with Parks & Suites again, but would prefer one closer to the centre.

Nice hotel, nice people at the reception. Spacious room, microwave and fridge. The wifi is OK for streaming and online Tv. The restaurant of the hotel is also good. Car park, outside and inside for 7ish € BAD point is the noise if you got noisy people over you. The hotel is 20min away from Montpellier. There a few shops just around.
