My main criticism of this hotel, is the paucity of English language TV channels. The only English language channel was CNN International. I would have liked the availability of CNBC, BBC World, Sky News, France 24 (English) and Al Jazzera (English). This is the only thing that might put me off coming here again. The restaurant was excellent. There were however 2 instances in the 5 days that I used the restaurant, when I felt that I was waiting a bit too long for attention, during which time, a waiter came to serve an adjacent table, and then attempted to depart without serving me, and I had to make my presence known. The hotel has its own car park. There was no charge for parking, but at the time of my visit, it was very full every night. Some inconsiderate customers parked badly, making the adjacent bay unusable. I felt that there was an excessive number of invalid bays. Of course, when the car park was full, they got used, but they are oversized. 2 invalid bays take up as much space as 3 regular bays. The hotel is on a narrow access road. At the time of my visit, there was work under way on underground services, which caused some disruption. In addition, the access road opens onto a junction which is controlled by traffic lights. These lights are heavily prioritised AGAINST the hotel's access road. The lights go green for about 15 or 20 seconds, then there is a wait of about 3 minutes before the next green. This means that exiting by car at times of heavy traffic can be problematic.
Stayed at the hotel for 1 night on route to Spain. The best thing about the hotel is the location close to the highway and the pool & garden. Rooms are very basic and the beds of so so quality. Staff is very unprofessional and don't answer adequately on questions. Employing a disable person is very nobel of this hotel, but this person speaks English very bad, doesn't deliver on promising and is very rude in approaching. Maybe better to employ this person not behind the desk or so. Hotel is not at Novotel standards, more like Ibis or at best Mercure. Probably won't stay here again.
This is value for money, but not expect four ⭐️ treatment. Be aware of the pricing, during check in I asked if breakfast was included and was told is was NOT. At checked out we was presented a bill with breakfast, I told them we had only had breakfast two out of four days. I was then told that breakfast was included and we unfortunately were misinformed during check in. The hotels mistake but we still had to pay. We got a ok room, beds are not the best to sleep in but they are ok. It's clean but a bit worn down. Not the biggest room but we survived. Its not soundproof between the rooms so earplugs could be an idea if you want a good nights sleep with no interference. Lack of closet space forced us to partly live in the suitcase during our four day stay. The pool is small but ok, narrow poolside area when is more then 20 people. Would have improved a lot if they had opened from the patio and into the garden. No sun umbrellas available so you can be in for a hot day by the pool. You get towels in the reception for the pool, but their are not bath towel size. Breakfast and lunch is good. And you can sit either in- or outside. Hotel is about 10-15 min by car from city center but the tram is just outside the door and very handy to use. We used it everyday, if you stay for several days I recommend you to buy a to day or seven day pass. We bought a family seven day pass for just €16 and can then use the tram as much as we like during our stay. On our third day the room next door had placed the room service trays in the hallway. After being there for 7-8 hours We had to ask the reception twice before they was removed. I would consider to come back but just for 1-2 nights. Just keep in mind this is NOT four star and be sure you know what you pay for.
Had a one night stay at the weekend. Check in was on-line and great, all the staff are fantastic. The hotel is well placed and well used, could do with a huge refresh. Breakfast was poor, quality of food and drinks are not up to standard. Would expect more for the price but the staff saved the day with their kindness.
We had better expectations for this hotel. We stayed at the chain in other locations and this one is below their average. The room size is good but need better cleaning. The shower and the sink were not working properly and the toilet need an update. The room sound proofing wasn't that good. We can ear the next room snoring. We didn't eat there and the location was ok for our road trip. The staff at the reception was ok. There was renovations during our stay so I understand the management can't control that much but at least have good working hours for the workers...
Location: near Motorway 9 (but you hear nothing), near Exit Montpellier south; Tram Station Garcia Lorca nearby (just 5 stations from Gare St Roche); enough parking Slots Bulding: they call it Resort, but it is an averace Accor-Hotel, nothing special; older buliding, they have an outdoor pool, but was not open (beginning of April) despite very good weather Rooms: urgent need for renovation; bath-room was once renovated, but again some bad signs; especially the flooring is dirty also outside of rooms Breakfast: that is very good, with different egg/bread/coffee-Typs; they offer also a small breakfast at the bar Conclusion: it´s maily used for conferences, but for other Needs I would go elsewhere; for Holidays: Novotel Suits or mercure is better located; if you just want to stop for 1 night on the way to spain, go to IBIS on the other side of the street, cheaper for same Quality, as Long as it is not renovated
Really expensive for a one nigth hotel during a road trip. Bed is really confortable, but the rooms are small, bathroom normal, breakfast NOT INCLUDED in the 99€/night... next time I'll try the IBIS, just in front of... I can not recomend it.
I stayed a few times in this hotel located near the highway at the entrance of the city. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant offers a few dishes (nothing original). Breakfast is fine with a nice selection of food. All in all, a hotel for those who want to avoid being in the center of the city or are travelling on the highway nearby.
We stayed here for a few days during a work trip. Initially I thought it looked a bit set apart from the rest of the city but it's 2 minutes on foot from the trams, which run regularly and conveniently. The hotel itself is nice and clean and the staff very friendly. There are some setbacks: the hotel is starting to show some signs of wear, which can be a nuisance to some. Also, the breakfast was unremarkable and the internet speed wasn't good. The payed plan which promises better speed is a sham (it improved about 1 mb/s). The best feature by far was the bed and sheets. So comfy I didn't want to wake up! Also the TV had a lot of channels, but the Canal+, the only one with movies in english, was constantly breaking down! I wasn't a big fan of the toilet separated from the bathroom, the space was tiny and the surfaces were old. Anyway, the rest of the room was very spacious and even had a sofa and a good working desk, which makes up for the rest.
We stayed here several times overnight when we were traveling on the highway passing by. I like that it is very close to the highway and that access to parking is closed to externals overnight. My son loves the hamburger in the restaurant. I had a club sandwich once which was good. The beds are really good for this class of hotel, I sleped well and nothing hurt in the morning. They don't speed much English at the reception but they were friendly and helpful. Bringing a dog was no problem. It's located close to a shopping mall so if you don't arrive too late you can fill up the travel box with food and drinks. A gas station is close by.
