Several things were not as advertised-no night lite in bathroom, carpet made bottom of my feet black so not clean as advertised,no exhaust in bathroom nor tissues and coffee maker made one cup of coffee and very small and cheap.

We were two families traveling together and made reservations thinking that it was clear 4 adults needing two spared Rooms, to my surprise we had one room two beds added to our insult we end up in two different hotels so lest live it to DAT.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn to attend my wife's Airforce graduation. Unfortunately the room was not ready on time and while I was sitting in the lobby waiting for it to be ready 2 other guests were checked in and given rooms.I went up to the counter 3 times to check but the front desk clerk didn't have to say much other than "it's not ready and we don't know exactly how long it may take" Check in was 3 pm so I figured it was plenty of time for housekeeping to clean the room. I would not stay here for the price I paid again.

This hotel is located right downtown and within walking distance to many places -- restaurants, bars, hair salon, spa, etc. It is also within a 20 minute driving distance from Pratville and the bigger shopping malls. They provide hot continental breakfast from 0600-1000. The only downside is that they do not have a microwave or fridge in the room. Valet parking is available at about $13/day.

The hotel location was great. It was very central and near restaurants and bars. The lobby is beautiful and clean. The breakfast was great. The room we stayed in was nice, BUT it does need some extra TLC. I did notice what appeared to be dried blood on the closet.

This place is great if you are attending the Montgomery Biscuits game only one block away. Loved the hotel. Eating area for breakfast was smaller than I'd expect, but it was very good. Next time I'll get a room with refrigerator. Didn't think I'd need one until I got a room without one. My fault on that one. FYI thermostat is tricky to find in your room. Look by the curtains.

This is a very nice hotel that has been restored to a very comfortable and functional state. Our room was on a corner of the building. The room was larger than many new hotels offer and had four huge windows with great views of downtown Montgomery. Hotel is located within walking distance of historical sites, entertainment, and the capital. Parking is typical to downtown areas - limited, but the staff does their best to make it painless.

Friendly staff. Perfect location for business trip.

I don't know why this hotel only received 2 stars. It appears to have been recently updated, is clean, and very comfortable. It is located next to many eateries and was a prime downtown location. I will definitely stay here again.

Loved it as I was impressed, as everyone from staff to the breakfast was fabulous.

Wonderful hotel with nice, clean, comfortable accomodations. Parking is lacking, but other than that, no complaints. Staff is so friendly - felt like home.

In town for party with dinner and party for friend leaving the States...wonderfully located hotel and excellent accommadations, especially considering the reasonable price. Would highly reccommend!

The staff were helpful and friendly - beyond expectations. The hotel was clean and updated in appearance. Overall, the accommodations were excellent! I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was great! Friendly staff very clean and fun historic feel to it. Would stay there again for sure!

We were in Montgomery to go to a Peter Frampton Concert, which was right across the street at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center. We walked. There were great resturants in walking distance. Also the historic district was in walking distance as well. The motel was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The only draw back was we had stayed up late and had planned to sleep later, but the traffic sounds were very loud and you could hear every closing door on our floor. Which woke us up several times, then we gave up and got up. The complementy breakfast was nice and the staff were great.

I found the staff at the hotel to be the best surprise: they were personable without being too friendly, they solved my logistics problems and made my late departure a breeze, and they seemed genuinely surprised every time I handed them a well-deserved gratuity.

This hotel is located in an active downtown location. Lots of nice restaurants to eat at that are family friendly. Trolley rides are $.25 per person :)
