It's a nice hotel, clean, quite, staff member all very nice.

We were upgraded to a cabin with fireplace and kitchenette. A very nice arrangement. Overall quiet and comfortable. The wi-fi is slow when other are apparently using it as well but otherwise a very pleasant stay. It would be a long walk to downtown Pacific Grove but without sidewalk. A shorter walk to the lighthouse of the Asilomar coast. Great location.

I loved the location in quiet Pacific Grove. It was not far from the beach and other local attractions. The staff was courteous, the room was quaint and comfortable. It was clean and did not have that motel room smell which was a nice change. Small toiletries were provided in the bathroom, the temperature was easily controlled, small microwave, refrigerator and coffee machine were in the room, spacious room, parking was available directly in front of all the rooms. And the continental breakfast served in the lobby was probably the best I've seen.

I booked a room with 2 queen beds. What I got was a mini studio - a small living area, bedroom (yes, with 2 queen beds) and a kitchenette. Even though the furniture was very outdated, the location was nice, just about a mile (maybe less) to the beach. All for about $160 a night. Good deal.

I reserved this hotel and had my friends get a room too for our mini vacation mostly because of the pool. However, we were told there is no pool like the website advertised. There used to be a pool but the hotel no longer has one. So this was extremely dissapointed and felt like false advertisement. However, the actual room was clean, nice and comfortable. The water temp was really off, it went from cold to scalding hot, so that was unsafe and inconvenient. Loved the location, PG is so quiet and cozy and the coast is right wishing walking distance.

Cute place, everything was good. The only negative is the continental breakfast was all carbs and no protein or fruit.

It was amazing. Felt right at home. Our room was perfect and the way it was decorated outside was gorgeous. The fire pit was a huge plus also.

Enjoyed this hotel many times, and love staying in the bungalows as you can take your dog! Pacific Grove has good restaurants nearby!

The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. The Hester did not work and neither did the fire pit. The shower is super small and doesn't have any shelving so, you have to lay your toiletries on the floor, which is awkward and forget about shaving your legs. The noise from other rooms was very noticeable. We could hear almost every word of a conversation from very loud neighbors on one side and the TV on the other side of our room. The noisy neighbors were so loud at night and in the morning, it interfered with sleep. I would recommend taking ear plugs with you.

The motel is a little dated, but this may be due to a recent change of ownership/management. Office staff are very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping service, a little spotty. Some days they did not get to my room until after 4pm. When they did come, they often forgot items-towels, shampoo, etc. However, office staff was always available and able to provide. Breakfast service is available, but it is continental-type breakfast (coffee, muffins, juice/fruit) so if you want something more substantial, you should make other plans.

Nice motel, comfortable stay, although it was raining and the fire place was closed, we were really happy with our stay.

It was a nice place with the exception of my bed. It was so hard and uncomfortable.

Awesome location at a great price. Fast and friendly check-in. Quiet. Pet friendly.

Room was clean and roomy with fridge and coffee nice big bathroom

1 bed sheets were dirty, continental breakfast wow muffins, coffee, juice and oatmeal everyday oh and bananas, too expensive for what they offer, parking problem, and guests on the other rooms made too much noise.

Good motel to stay. The room is upgraded nice to stay. The chair and tables is very old, I hope they can upgrade the furniture soon. I will come back again only if the furniture upgraded

Years ago we were reminded we had been too this hotel, Sea Breeze. Nice location areas to walk to beach. We recommend this hotel and loved the bungalow we stayed in as it was quiet and clean.

I would definitely choose this hotel again. The staff was nice. The room was clean.

Clean sheets, comfy bed, hot water - that's it. Monterey and Pacific Grove are over-rated, over-priced and the hotels/motels do not understand maintenance of properties. Knowing how the area jacks up prices during holidays and special events, I booked this room months in advance of stay. If it were not for family living in the area, I would not visit this overly-priced area.
