Well, it wasn’t camping. The location is great, but the condition of the cottage was tired, worn out, and seemingly decorated from a thrift store. However, it also was budget friendly…you’ll get what you pay for. If you are looking for a nice place to enjoy the area, this definitely isn’t it. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to just sleep, this could be for you. We stayed two nights, then booked a nicer hotel for our last night in town.

The staff was courteous. We got the suite with a 2 queen bedroom with a kitchenette and separate living room. Unfortunately there was no table to sit at to eat. There was only a bear minimum of kitchen utensils/cookware if you wanted to cook a meal. Seating in the living room was limited to three even though there were two queen size beds.

The Sea Breeze was one of the more affordable options I had to stay in Pacific Grove. The room was basic but comfortable. I did not explore much of the property itself, but it is also conveniently located to several of the beaches near Asilomar
