We enjoyed two nights here, great secluded room with an amazing view, loved it. The charcuterie board with lavender honey in the lounge was perfect. Getting there and parking once you're there is a little tricky, but well worth the effort. Be prepared for some walking
This hotel has an amazing view from all areas from our patio, 5th floor. Definitely needs to be updated in the rooms and restaurants. Elevator was broken so you have to make sure you can walk and climb stairs
We stopped here just to get a drink and see the view from the bar/restaurant. I highly recommend it. We ended up regretting our dinner venue choice and wished we had just stayed for dinner and the sunset. Highly recommend it.
We went there to have a cocktail and watch the sunset. The gin I chose was out and since the only tonic water they serve is Schweppes the waitress talked me into their signature cocktail. Jalapeno margarita. It was hot, too hot I would say. The service was excellent, very friendly and quick. The whisky menu is long, some of the cocktails on the menu sound really interesting. I can't say anything about the restaurant since we did not eat there.
Just checked in to the Hyatt for two nights and sadly disappointed. The rooms are small and so are the bathrooms and I mean tiny. Also it feels like an upgraded motel, smells like cigarettes and does not feel like a typical hyatt at all. I'm very surprised that this hotel is at the same level of the Hyatt haddaa Maldives where my husband and I honeymooned. Both hotels are worlds apart. The hotel does have good view but I would never pay for a room here. Come here for lunch but not worth the price.
we came here on a timeshare offer, to be fair. we were given 3 nights in a most awesome unit. what a view from our spot that included a huge tub, wood burning fireplace, all the wood you can burn, and a kitchen. house keeping did a great job, even cleaned the fireplace and had it ready to go... I mean with kindling and wood ready to light. even though we did not buy a timeshare, they were not too pushy. we really enjoyed this property.......
My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time. The staff is friendly and the property is in a gorgeous location right on the coast - 10 minutes south of Carmel. We are Hyatt Gold passport members, so they gave us a free upgrade to an ocean view room. With the wood burning fireplace, our room was cozy and very clean. The dining areas are gorgeous and have incredible views. We had breakfast at "California Market" which is their outdoor patio restaurant - with the same food as the renowned Pacific's Edge Restaurant. We were so relaxed from this great visit, so we will be back!
The view from the room was spectacular, unfortunately, it was freezing to hang out on the porch and enjoy it. The living room had a firepit and I was thrilled to turn it on immediately. The second night I was there I ordered room service from the restaurant at the hotel, and it tasted nothing like the night before, when I ordered the same dish at the restaurant.
Hyatt Carmel Highlands is a terrific way to experience the region's natural beauty in comfort and style. In our opinion, this romantic getaway is geared toward for couples. Fantastic place for dinner and drinks overlooking the coastline. Terrific and Classic California experience!
Went with the family on a beautiful sunny day and we were given a table by the window. The views are breathtaking. I had lamb and it was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. We ordered wine and it paired very nicely with the food. Excellent experience.
