Other than the pool being unbearingly cold, this hotel was great. The bed was super comfy, the staff was ultra helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast not nice, not an afterthought like some other hotels. Would definitely stay here again.
Great place to stay. Has an awesome breakfast and with the digits key I didn’t have to worry about keeping my keycard. The room was nice and I was able to get next to my family right away. Plenty of things to do nearby also.
I was welcomed by a very friendly Staff member, Lisa, after a 15 hour long travel, needless to say I was exhausted. After Lisa checked me in and gave me my room key, she went the extra mile and was nice enough to call my room and ask if everything was OK and if I needed anything else to make my stay more comfortable. She advised me to take a warm shower and rest. The next morning I had a business meeting and as I was blow drying my hair the blow dryer stopped working, so I called the reception desk, and Nick was nice enough to bring me another, more powerful blow dryer! Overall excellent service and excellent facilities. Oh and on the plus side, there's a Ruby Tuesday's at walking distance right next door!
Was in town for the weekend, and honestly chose the hotel because it was the only thing we could find (huge golf tournament and a home Vikings game going on), but so glad we stayed here. The rooms were clean and well maintained, the front desk clerk was absolutely wonderful - I wish I could remember her name! The beverage station in the lobby was a great touch, and we couldn't have asked for a more convenient place to stay. I'm kind of a hotel snob, and usually stay at a Kimpton hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel.
We were moving from Minneapolis to Eastern Wisconsin and showed up exhausted from moving out of our home of 22 years. We decided to spend 3 nights at the Hampton Inn to recover before seeing how the movers had done at our new home. Dianne, Tom, and Nick were all sensitive to our needs and helped us recover before heading on. The rooms and breakfast were excellent too!
We travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels and this has by far been the best hotel experience we have ever had! We will with most definitely stay at a Hampton Inn again. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly and helpful and the bed was very comfortable. There is a pool and complementary breakfast.
Great staff (Lisa) very helpful and friendly. Price was resonable .Clean room, good breakfast. Lots of amenities.Internet was good. Easy access to Ruby Tuesday for supper. Would definitely stay again.
The customer service and staff were amazing. The rooms were well stocked and very clean every day. It was worth every penny. They are very good with breakfast and young children as well. I brought my daughter with and it was really relaxing to be around a staff that seemed to enjoy seeing a happy toddler running around, She wasn't bad at any point but sometimes people get annoyed by toddlers. So this trip gets a 5 star on this stay.
this is a newer location, close to Valleyfair, Canterbury, and the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. I would recommend staying here for any of those events. The breakfast that is included with your room is wonderful!
There is nothing about this hotel that makes it any different than any other Hampton Inn. These cookie-cutter motels succeed because they give you exactly the same experience you had at the last Hampton Inn you stayed at. It's clean and quiet. "Free" breakfast is a half a notch below McDonald's. $179 a night seemed about right.
