Good, clean and also typical business hotel. Lots of people around, some conventions and exposition rooms. A little bit messy but all in all ok. Also good location, just a 10min walk to the Duomo and the room was impeccable. A very safe choice if you go to Milan and don't expect a hotel with a lot of soul.
very nice location staff very friendly and welcoming, advise on restaurant and place to go; evening time had a brink at the bar food is very fresh also in the morning breakfast; you are welcomed all over and looked after
I will say the hotel is very clean, staff are very friendly and professional, beds are comfortable, great breakfast. There is one thing that is extremely frustrating when travelling for business and it is that they refuse to bring an iron up to your room. You are forced to go down to the lobby to a room right next to the breakfast room to iron your shirt. This is unacceptable when travelling (especially with work colleagues), as I had to go to the lobby half dressed to iron my shirt. If I am travelling for business and paying mid-range prices, I expect that an iron can be brought to my room. If this is not an issue, then I recommend you stay here. If you are travelling for business and expect you'll need to iron your shirt...look elsewhere.
I stay with NH frequently and I like that I know what to expect in terms of service and room quality. I thought the hotel met our needs and the staff's helpfulness was what I expect of an NH hotel. The only reason I have rated this as very good instead of excellent was due to the noticeable wear and tear in the rooms. I understand in many cities the buildings are old and there will always been some age related damaged. In this case perhaps it wasn't so much wear and tear as it was damage to the walls. Lots and lots of noticeable scuff marks on the white walls and the wall behind the door had a large, noticeable slash of blank ink (or looked like ink). Some fresh paint would do a lot of good to the rooms that are well used and dirty on the walls. Besides this, which is cosmetic, as I don't believe the rest of the room was dirty at all, was great. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was a good size, we had a nice view, and the staff was helpful. Both recommendations for restaurants were excellent. We enjoyed the early morning breakfast option when we weren't able to attend the regular hours. It was a nice added touch and the first time I have seen a hotel offer this. The location was great as there is a metro stop very near by. Central station is close so it was very easy to get to from the airport. Wasn't too far of a walk to main sights, but with the metro it was easy in in climate weather to get around too.
I was traveling for business and stayed in NH Milano Touring for 8 nights. As soon as you go up, it's quiet. The lobby can be loud and busy. I had a single room which wasn't too big, but the bed was amazing. The breakfast wasn't really special but still good. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
We had a very pleasant stay and the staff we very good. Lots of added extras!!! The meals we had in the bar area we great with chef's specials were an additional surprise. Breakfasts were very good and staff warm, welcoming and very helpful.
Bathroom full of black moisture stains. Ceiling Paint cracking Small breakfast buffet Lobby bar staff not present despite asking 2x Expensive: +160€ for 1 night in superior room... Better look for other higher standard brands with similar pricing. Not even worth 3 stars!
If you are looking for a hotel in the city center, which is not too expensive, choose NH Milano Touring. All the popular destinations are near by. The hotel staff was really friendly, however, I believe that the management team should put more people on reception during check-ins and check-outs, because having only two people does make guests wait which can be frustrating after a long flight. For us, the room was not ready even though we arrived a few hours after the given official check-in time start, however, they gave us an upgrade for a suit room, which was very nice of them. I was quite worried that it will be cold in the room, because of winter season, however the heating was working well and it was very warm. The food in a restaurant is really nice, although I have noticed that for some reason on weekends the food is a little bit different. I ordered chicken breast with spinach, with potatoes on Friday and it was amazing, so I ordered it again for dinner next day, but it was cooked in a different way. So I think it is better to try the restaurant on weekdays, and eat somewhere out during weekends. As for the cleanliness, everything was great, the room was clean and the sheets are soft and nicely ironed. Overall, I enjoyed my stay in the hotel and recommend it to families and people coming for leisure. All the small details I think can be improved and make the stay in the hotel even better.
We stayed for a night a group when we were in MIlan for business.. the hotel was quite well located with decent connections.. good rooms with clean linen.. but the service can be better.. they showed little flexibility for group stays - for using meeting rooms, provide basic services, etc.
