Remembering my previous visit https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g187849-d202856-r383980629-NH_Milano_Touring-Milan_Lombardy.html I asked for a room upgrade. I was told a suite was available and for a very reasonable price, so I took it. This so called suite was two small rooms put together with bed removed from the another one. As result you have to go to both rooms to put the key cards (and pity you if you only took one card like me) to the slots in order to be able to turn on the lights. Breakfast was nice, but doubt I return.
This was a first time I visited Italy and was pleasantly surprised. This hotel was close to the sights that Milan had to offer i.e, the Milan Cathedral and within walking distance to my place of work. The breakfast was very good with a world theme as well as Italian. The room was however a bit small but acceptable for business standards but it was lacking in plugs for my electronics. Apart from this they accepted ‘Apple Pay’ which was a bonus. So if I am back in Milan, this is where I would stay again.
This hotel leaves me with mixed feelings. The location is great, within walking distance from the train stations and the city center. However, the single-bedroom was a bit small for the price (more than 150 euro a night, excluding breakfast). And I could not sleep well. The main reason was a zooming noise (from an elevator, a generator?) that went on and off during the night, even after turning off the airconditioning. Perhaps it was the elevator that was located just beside my room? The room had a nice work space, and the bathroom was large. However, the shower was not easy. Temperature was not constant, so one moment the water was too hot, and the other moment it was completely cold. The next time I stay in Milan, I will probably choose another hotel. This hotal is not bad, but I did not feel completely happy after some nights of poor sleep.
located at a calm place in Milano this hotel is near the city centre and best shops. also has train and metro station very close. You can walk everywhere and still don't feel like a tourist. Breakfast is too expensive. Rooms are big and comfortable
great place to stay. the staff was friendly and helpful. My cell phone fell out of my pocket in the taxi and the young lady on staff was more then helpful in getting hold of the taxi driver and getting my phone back. Great breakfast every morning was a plus.
Very nice property, good size room in a quiet street next to an extensive beautiful park. Clean tasteful good air conditioning and able to open windows. Good breakfast and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay.
Stayed for a night when visiting for business. Pretty small room as you can see from the pic but the bathroom was big. You did need to have surgical precision not to be scalded or frozen in the shower. Hotel clean and ok.
When staying at a hotel that actually enhances a vacation, you know you are in one of the best places ever! The warmth of the staff, the comfort level of the hotel, and the casual elegance of the rooms and public areas make you feel as though you are in the comfort of your own home. Hervé, Joseph, and the entire staff quietly provide you with a stress free environment. They are so attentive to every need to make your stay comfortable. I had the opportunity to speak with one of the owners and he said that when they designed the hotel their goal was to create a property where guests would feel very comfortable and have a place to relax and enjoy their vacation. They have exceeded their goal. The management and entire staff surround your visit with concern for your comfort. When you arrive at the train station, the hotel van is sent to meet you. Rooms are spacious, warm, comfortable and very clean. In fact, the entire week we were here we didn’t see anything out of place on the property. They provide an excellent buffet breakfast (included) with something for everyone. When you enter the dining area you are greeted each day, there are no sign-ins, check-ins, or key checks. The buffet is served from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 and they have a section set aside for your hiking snacks. The dinner they serve and the breath of the menu is unexpected. We chose to eat at the hotel most nights due to the quality of the food and the reasonable prices. The Chef takes such care that you can actually taste the different elements of each dish. There is a pool, full spa, and an added “adventure” they call Emotional Showers. It can be fun, relaxing, and meditative, whatever you want it to be. All of this is provided with the cost of your stay, no extra charges unless you want a massage. We noted that some people mentioned the trains. While you could hear the trains if your sliding door was open, the noise was unobtrusive. With the doors closed, most of the time one didn’t recognize they were even passing unless you were listening Our week was so relaxing and so much fun we are actually thinking about another trip to the area. There are not many places like Italy, nor this exceptional hotel. We are so grateful to management for all that they have created.
The hotel is very accessible to Milano Central Train Station and Near Republica Metro Station meanwhile it is near park for walking and enjoy from nature. Hotel is very quite and the waiters are very polite. Thanks a lot from Bahram in Hotel for hospitality also.
On the morning of my departure, my flight home to Canada was suddenly canceled- due to a power outage at Schipol Airport. I began scrambling to find a flight home but most flights were already fully booked. I called the front desk, and spoke with Chaima. She could tell how upset I was and offered to help. Chaima was instrumental in helping me find a flight home, I could not have done it without her help. I can not THANK her enough for her assistance and caring manner. She went well beyond her job, to help me find a flight home. From helping me call the airline to connecting me to my boss in Amsterdam. I am so grateful to her. This was A-Class service. Grazie Mille, Chaima!!
