Really enjoyed the property. The breakfast was varied with most of the items ‘grab and go’. Keith was an exceptional host. Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Beware of those who are light sleepers.
This is a very nice little place. It could use some updating and a few upgrades. Breakfast is definitely light but they had a vegan option which I thought was very thoughtful! (Continental breakfast can be tough for the plant-based…) And the staff is so great! They were really friendly, efficient and helpful. Easy to get in and out of Newport and to the cliff walk by car.
Staff is incredible. I’ve never felt so welcome! Property is clean, beds super comfortable. Only thing I’d appreciate is a gluten free option for breakfast in addition to the fruit.
It was exactly as we expected .... people were super friendly, very clean, plenty of parking, will go back eveytime we visit Newport , which is often. It was a great visit
The lady at the front desk was great an older lady that was just so sweet and helpful .The property was like walking into a mansion beautifully decorated and inviting. The rooms were big and very clean. Would love to go back.

It was clean and the people were nice and helpful. The hotel was a little out of the way, but it was fine. Overall it was very nice.

First time staying at hotel since 2019. This was the place to kick off travel with confidence. We received a warm and gracious welcome from each front desk attendant we encountered! Beautiful room, clean, comfortable, especially the mattress. Good job to all! We look forward to staying again at the Carriage House!

Molly was a delight and the staff really made us feel cared about! High ceiling room was a very nice touch!
The outside of the property is clean and well manicured. The inside is sparkling clean. The rooms including the bathroom is very clean. Beds are made up every day. Customer service is on point. We had no regrets on our visit. I'm planning a girl's trip over the Summer and intend to stay at Carriage
