Miami Airport Marriott

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

The ceiling had a permanent leak. The mattress too soft. The quality of the towels very deplorable. The floor of arrival of vehicles to the entrance of the hotel very deteriorated. The quality of the ice on the floors quite poor. The mechanism of the shower faucet must be changed. It continually strikes.

Friendly staff, clean, comfortable, and quite rooms. And if you are flying it is a great place to park your car for a reasonable rate.

They have to change the politics of cover for parking. Spend $220 for a week parking is a lot of money because there are another hotels in the area that dont have to pay for that. In my next trip to MIA I will not stay again in this hotel for that reason. Nobel

We had an excellent experience, since we arrive the valet parking were very friendly s the receptionist. The room very well as the gym and the all facilities, the location was the best.

All Marriott's are within the same compound area but prices vary greatly. Next time I would consider just staying at the Residence Inn....better price and same location!

Just one overnight while traveling. TV didn't work. Maid working did not know English and couldn't help. But after asking at the desk, it was only a few minutes before someone came and got it working [loose wire]. Airplanes fly overhead but can't hear them. Airport shuttle didn't leave until 5 a.m. but like the hotel staff assured us we had not problem checking into the airport and getting through security in time for our 6:30 American Airlines flight.

Overall a nice location, several options for dinner right on sight.

The stay was great. I wish I had something negative to say but I don't.

But typically enjoy staying at the Marriott, however the state was less than excellent. I think it's bad enough that they charge for parking over priced right, but what worsens the experience was the fact that available parking space was of the all-time low. Yes, I could have paid extra for valet service. I think parking should be free at the price of the room rates, and then charge a premium for valet. While the staff was extremely friendly and helpful the rooms were less then what Marriott usually has for immaculate. My duvet was less than white and the iron was bronken and leaked. I realize this is a order however it seems like there was little to nothing done to maintain or update the rooms. However the lobby is immaculate and gives the sense that the rooms will be of the same standard. I don't feel that it was a bad experience however for the price and the name on the building the experience equaled the same as if I went to a lower price hotel.

I went for a 3 night stay on September for a soccer tournament. I'm 19 years of age and for it being my first time, I thought it was a lovely stay. I was on a tight budget, and because I was looking for special deals a month before my departure, I got a $89 per night stay. Pretty good if you compare to other hotels. The staff there were lovely and very helpful. I felt safe as well and I also loved the Starbucks once you enter to check in! I would recommend this place for anyone who is there for a short trip to Miami. It's close to the airport plus they have a shuttle van that passes every 15 mins for a good amount of hours throughout the day. Thank you Marriott! I will sure see you soon again!

The staff at the front office was very cordial when we arrived. The gal accommodated us with a room despite having arrived there before the check-in time and we thought that was great. The lobby always smelled wonderful (weird but it was a lovely gesture) and we loved the pool and the hot tub. We also loved that my requests for extra soap and shampoo were amply met as well as the extra towels. On our last day, however, we were appalled at the horrible treatment we got from the people assisting guests to their buses. We parked at the front to check out and not kidding you, a younger employee asked us to move our car! We were not planning on doing this because we were about to check-out but an older employee yelled at us embarrassing us in front of the other guests there! People like that should not be employed to work with other people. Once we moved and went inside, I commented to an employee about this experience and he told me he would talk to them about it. If it hadn't been for that sour experience, I would of rated it an A.

Hotel was okay for one night. A little run down since its an older hotel. Great location a few minutes away from the airport. You have to pay for parking!

We only stayed one night but found it to be very nice and had a couple restaurants on site so we didn't have to leave and was very accessible to the Park & Fly and the Airport.

This Marriott is completed beaten up.Its old and not so comfortable. Also getting in and out of the hotel is very difficult during peak hours. May be you can stay for a night for transit but cannot stay for long for sure.

The hotel was very easy to find as we had just driven in from Orlando and needed a room for one night to catch a flight from the airport the next morning. Seemed very secure as we entered the property. Beautiful front lobby area and an inviting bar area where many people were gathering. Quick check in and equally quick departure. Very conveniently located to the Miami airport.

Perfect location if doing business in Miami and need a quick to/from the airport. Always clean, comfortable and reasonably priced for the location. Stayed at least 20+ for business over the years.

Room wasn't very clean. Checked in at 1 am and front desk lady was nice and friendly as was our shuttle driver. Left early morning. Breakfast was good.

Good experience. Great hotel in a great location. It is very convenient to go airport.

We were waiting for our family to come from Australia ,Germany and S.Africa and were there in all 3 days. The staff were great golf at Melreese GC just around the corner great Driving Range and staff. In all will book again when in Miami

The accomodations, staff and price/value reflected the Marriott standards. Seems like Marriott really understands what a tired traveler needs and they deliver.
