It Is a good hotel to stay for some days to do somethings in downtown Miami.
The carpet was very dirty, the toilet wasn't attached to the floor and would almost tip over while sitting on it. And the overpass was literally right outside our room with cars blaring all night. Do not stay on the south side of the hotel, especially not the third floor. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The staff was extremely helpful in planning travel in the Miami area. The hotel was bright and comfortable. Sergio, the day manager, was very helpful as was his assistant. The breakfast buffet was very good and the coffee was delicious. The hotel was immaculate.
beautiful location- wonderful staff- relaxing pool... can't ask for more!
The hotel was nicely adorned with exceptional staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was very quiet even though it was next to the freeway. Good breakfast which is included.
I flew into Miami on a red eye and immediately went to the hotel to get a few hours of rest before a big conference... However no sleep was to be found. The hotel sits right next to the freeway and the noise is unbearable. Plus, my room had an adjoining room separated by a thin door.... I could hear every work the guests next door said. If you're looking to get a good night's rest, this is not the hotel for you. I checked out after 3 hours and the hotel refused to give me a refund of my prepaid, 2 night stay even though I didn't stay more than 3 hours. Do not recommend at all... There are many other great, comparably priced options in Miami.
1) Staff is unqualified for the job, from the way they dress to the way they treat customers (not bad but very unprofessional) 2) Room had broken AC, ask the front desk at check out about the problem, i didn't even got an apology from them Very very unprofessional staff.
Stayed 3 days and ordered a city view. Reservations were made 2 months ahead of time. Got there room was unavailable and didn't get my room until the last day of check out. Breakfast was average, the same thing everyday. Oranges juice was watered down as hack. Gym area was a joke. Was very small not much to anything to use. Pool area was average and simple. Room was comfortable enough to stay in. But staff was very friendly and helpful. Valet parking is 25.00 but you can park across the street for FREE. I did with no problem for 3 days straight.
Beware, this hotel charges for valet parking. There is no free parking. I was fortunate to be able to park around the corner (the hotel is in a residential area). Also, the accomodations are less than ideal, but you get what you pay for in life.
For the cost is went beyond expectations. Nice beds. Good location.
Loved the pool view balcony and the breakfast was great!
I made a reservation with this hotel because the rate was $99 and it was pet friendly, I arrive at the hotel and I find out there's a $75 pet fee then the hotel had no free parking so you have to use the valet service which is $30 a day. By the time al is said an done I spent more on incidentals then on the room rate. Plus we were on the first floor so heard everything from the rooms above including the flushing of the toilets. I would never go back to that hotel or recommend it to someone else
pleasant staff..furnishings dated and in need of cleaning..spots..wear..etc. just very worn..When new it must have been great. fashionable but not special housekeeping needs to be better...especially shower room very stuffy..AC not good..humid etc good value for the reasonable price, but unlikely to rebook.
This was a great location for Miami business trip. It wasn't easy to find a close place to eat late at night without driving. The small bar/restaurant was understaffed.
Nice hotel on a busy street. I could hear street noise from my room, but did not disturb my sleep. Self parking option would be nice. Not much to do in this neighborhood so it is car dependent if you want a bite to eat. I would stay again as it is a good value for Miami.
I spent 6nights and 7days in Miami. I had a wonderful time! Hotel Urbano is a clean hotel. My favorite part has to be the pool area. The pool along with the fire pit was just perfect to relax. The location wasn't too close as i thought it would be to downtown, however you can catch the trolley right across the street. Front desk worker Nelson, and Soi the bartender made me feel right at home. They went above and beyond to help me with whatever i needed. Overall, I had a great time and I would stay again at Hotel Urbano.
Ended up studying 2 nights as it was easy for transport with the free Miami trolley system outside the hotel , the interconnecting Miami mover and bus system to Sth Beach giving us the taste of Miami at a reasonable price . Hotel and staff great - expensive on the drinks at the bar I thought but with a pool to drink next to sll good
The location is great after hanging out on south beach was nice to come sleep in peace and quiet. Didn't like the valet parking so much being in and out tipping got expensive not to mention the $30 a night extra for it.
it was a very nice stay at this hotel. the staff was very friendly and very helpful. we also found that it has a very good location and we enjoyed driving around with the trolley (free).
We arrived a day early for the cruise. This hotel isn't as close to the pier but the free trolley took us to Bay side and from there we caught a $10 cab to the pier. We came on a Sunday so it wasn't packed We enjoyed the pool, the room is spacious (two queen beds), the gym and breakfast. They had a very nice bathroom. The curtains were dirty and the sheets were noisy. All in all though it was a nice priced small hotel. The staff was polite and helpful. A lot of beautiful art work.
